BE A LEADER IN YOUTH SPORTS
Youth Basketball Referees play a key role in creating a positive and developmentally appropriate sports experience for young athletes. Referees ensure games are safe, fair, and fun while modeling sportsmanship and reinforcing the values of teamwork and respect. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with youth, are passionate about basketball, and want to contribute to a community-focused program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Officiate youth basketball games in a fair, consistent, and positive manner
Ensure player safety and uphold sportsmanship standards at all times
Communicate clearly and professionally with players, coaches, and fellow officials
Apply and enforce rules appropriate for youth and recreational play
Serve as a positive role model and ambassador for the Club
Support a welcoming, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment for all participants

QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic knowledge of basketball rules; youth or high school playing/officiating experience preferred

The Role

As a Five Iron Coach, you'll balance high-quality instruction with engagement time, working closely with our Social and Performance Teams to introduce golfers to lessons, fittings, and memberships. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of golf industry experience or graduation from a PGM program.
* Proven one-on-one and group coaching experience preferred.
* Strong understanding of swing mechanics, ball flight laws, and launch monitor data.
* Proficient with video analysis and comfortable with golf technology tools.
* Excellent communication skills - able to connect with golfers of all skill levels and explain complex concepts clearly.

Supervision of student-athletes during all team activities:
Practice and game times vary throughout the week. Coaches need to be available between the hours of 3-9pm (Monday- Friday and limited Saturdays).

Promotion of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and fair play among team members

Practice and game times vary throughout the week. Coaches need to be available between the hours of 3-10pm (Monday-Saturday).
Effective communication with players, coaching colleagues, and parents
Promotion of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and fair play among team members
Developing players within a unified V/JV/Fr system
Teaching the rules of the game and technique to improve player development
Summer Activities and Camp participation is recommended with the job.
Compensation:
Stipend: $2250
This is a stipended volunteer position and the role is not benefit eligible.

Job SummaryArena Sports Referees are an essential part of what makes us great. They provide a safe, fun, friendly, and structured environment for Adult and Youth League players-helping to ensure a great customer experience while promoting sportsmanship and fair play, per indoor-specific soccer rules of play. Alongside refereeing games, they also manage rosters and field areas during their shift, and communicate any pertinent information to League Managers.

Responsibilities
Manage games professionally and consistently to the standards of Arena Sports
Review game schedules and rosters for games
Identify players that need waivers or need to make payment for the league
Greet teams while entering the field
Referee games while assisting league players in understanding rules specific to indoor soccer
Provide an exceptional league experience for players and spectators
Communicate information to League Managers such as customer follow up, team payments, or foul play
Maintain a clean and organized field and player bench area
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager
Qualifications:
League Referees are professional, passionate about the game, reliable, able to communicate effectively with players, and can manage stressful situations.
Prior experience as a referee is not required (training provided).
Compensation: $19.25 - $32.00 per hour
