JOB SUMMARY
This position oversees all aspects of the Women's Wrestling program at Northeastern State University and is responsible for building and leading a competitive NCAA Division II wrestling program.
This position is classified as a 12-month full-time at-will employment appointment with administrative (30%) and coaching (teaching) (70%) responsibilities.
MAJOR DUTIES
Leads the overall management of the Women's Wrestling program in alignment with the mission and values of NSU, the MIAA, and NCAA Division II.
Plans, organizes, and conducts practices, training sessions, and competitions.
Directs the recruitment and retention of quality student-athletes who reflect NSU's academic standards and competitive expectations.
Oversees academic monitoring and student-athlete development initiatives.
Manages the program budget, purchasing, equipment, and travel.
Supervises any assistant coaches, student managers, and volunteers.
Ensures compliance with all institutional, conference, and NCAA policies and procedures.
Promotes community engagement and university visibility through outreach, camps, and fundraising efforts.
Collaborates with sports medicine, strength and conditioning, compliance, academics, and athletic communications for program success.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Experience in coaching wrestling at the collegiate or high school level.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree.
Experience as a collegiate head coach or lead assistant coach.
