g. Keeps assistant coaches, student managers, and statisticians well informed about expectations.
h. Cooperates fully with maintenance and transportation staff as well as others involved in the athletics program.
5. Gives support to all endorsed activities of the school. Students will be
polite, courteous, and fair to visiting teams.
6. Responsible for every facet of discipline by modeling proper behavior.
This includes attitudes toward school codes, training rules, rules of the game, ideals of good sportsmanship, and behavior of participants throughout the season. The coach represents Isle of Wight County Schools and the community that supports the school and Virginia High School League policies.
7. Supervises students in their charge at all times, both before and after
activities or practices.

26. Assist in helping to set up and take down for team athletic events.
27. You must meet with all parents of players prior to the season starting. This is a requirement you will be held to as part of your evaluation. Athletic Director must receive proof in writing.
C. Training and Preparation

G. All Head Coaches are required to make sure the following occurs before the Athlete is eligible to participate in their season.

2. Physical form has been turned in. All four pages completed.
3. Activity fee has been paid.
4. Concussion acknowledgment sheet has been read and signed.
H. Head Coaches are also required to make sure their web-site is up-dated regularly and all proper materials are current.
I. All head coaches and their staff are required to complete all three sections of the coaches certification program provided by the Virginia High School League (VHSL).
J. Head Coaches will not begin any out of season conditioning until after the first game of the season before their season begins.

Position Objective: Strength and Conditioning Coach (SCC) tasks/goals at designated Army installation are to reduce medical attrition and increase Military readiness. Duties and Responsibilities:
SCCs will work as part of the H2F Performance Team to develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive, periodized education and services program integrated and synchronized with the BDE and Battalion (BN) training calendars. Success is determined by the ability of the BDE to perform its combat mission.
SCCs will perform services IAW the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or the Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) Scope of Practice.
SCCs will be embedded at the BDE level. Most work will be performed in a Military training environment (i.e. fitness centers/gyms, BDE or administrative areas, outdoors, ranges, field training environments, and at the SPRC).
SCCs will be required to observe BDE and below (i.e. BN, company, platoon, squad, team) specific training events (e.g., obstacle courses, combatives, training areas).
Support quality assurance efforts, ensuring all work performance aligns with H2F objectives.
SCCs may be embedded within H2F Performance Teams across BDEs at various Government installations.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college or university; it is highly desired that the degree is in a related field.
Must possess a passing score from the Board of Certification (BOC) by the NSCA as a CSCS or by the CSCCA as a SCCC.
Have three years of relevant SCC work experience within the last five years. Relevant experience is defined as developing and executing task and environment specific functional injury control and health/well-being programs for groups of athletes or DoD/Department of Homeland Security/Department of Justice entities focused on a common sport or mission performance goal. Please note - Employment related to internships or graduate work for only up to one year is considered as relevant experience.

ASSISTANT FOOTBALL COACH Bridgewater College, a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III, is seeking applications for a Defensive Assistant Football Coach. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Head Football Coach.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Assisting the head coach in all facets of a Division III football program
* Recruiting prospective student-athletes who fit the mission and culture of the program and the College
* Organizing & conducting on-field coaching during practices and games
* Developing detailed scouting reports, statistics, and video analysis breakdowns
* Manage and provide feedback and evaluation to Defensive players and coaches.
* Assist with program marketing and branding on a multitude of platforms, including social media
* Providing mentoring and support for the student-athletes, particularly in regards to academics and player development
* Complying with all NCAA, conference and college policies and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree required
* Candidates should have strong Defensive background in High School or College level with proven football coaching experience. Prefer positional background to be coaching Linebackers.
* Must be able to teach defensive football technique and understand football strategy at a high level.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and effective communication and organizational skills.
* Basic competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio) applications is required.
* Competency with HUDL or other editing software.
* Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the college's auto insurance carrier
Pay is competitive, and salary is commensurate with experience. This full-time position offers a full benefits package, including paid tuition at the College for eligible dependents.
