WORK DESCRIPTION:

Provides individual services to adult, substance-using clients by following evidence-based practices; assists clients in building recovery resources; and develops individual Recovery Plans that help clients enhance self-efficacy, maintain engagement in ongoing HIV medical care, reduce HIV risk and transmission behaviors, and continue recovery post-treatment.

Provide recovery support services at time of discharge from substance abuse treatment services.

PRIMARY DUTY
Clinical Coaches at The Manor provide direct support to clients and report to the clinical & medical team. Clinical Coaches play a critical role in the multidisciplinary team by mentoring, monitoring, and assisting our clients. Coaches are responsible for monitoring and documenting activities of clients and implementing the program schedule in accordance with The Manor's policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide direct support to clients through all stages of treatment, from stabilization to discharge.
Successfully communicate and implement daily schedules for clients.
Observe, document, and report on clients' behavioral patterns, client questions, and/or concerns.
Observe and monitor medication pass, assist clients in selecting appropriate PRN (“as needed”) medications based on indications in EMR, screen clients' vital signs prior to giving medications, assist clients in obtaining appropriate medication information when requested, documenting medication administration accurately.
Assist with intake process, including searching client's personal belongings with client permission.
Support medical team in obtaining vitals, screen clients with CIWA/COWS tools while undergoing stabilization phase of treatment.
Assist in completing required forms with clients, such as release of information, recurring reports, outcome measurements, and medication consents.
Collect, document, and report on urine drug screens and breathalyzer testing.
Provide transportation to clients in facility vehicles, within the scope of daily operations.
Maintain and update accurate records of client related data in the electronic medical record within required documentation timeframes and in accordance with treatment plans and goals.
Maintain a visible presence at the facility and observe patient activity as a representative of the treatment staff.
Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere strictly to confidentiality requirements. Comply with Manor's procedures, maintain healthy work culture, and establish a therapeutic milieu.
Help keep a clean and safe environment for clients and staff members by adhering to established standards of hygiene and universal infection control.

Our season typically extends through the Fall, with select PSB cities operating year round through the winter as well. We offer teams for both boys and girls at the elementary, middle and high school levels, with teams consisting of kids at advanced, intermediate and beginner skill levels.
Coaching with PSB is a paid, part-time hourly role that is great for experienced coaches who are looking for additional basketball opportunities, new college graduates seeking their start in the coaching world, or anyone with a passion for hoops that wants to make a positive impact on the youth in their community.

Our Team Coaches have the following responsibilities:
Learn and adhere to PSB policies and procedures.

Be consistently engaged with PSB stakeholders and address concerns quickly, with a positive attitude.
Travel to various local practice gyms and tournaments as assigned.
Work with PSB management to ensure that all events have appropriate PSB staff coverage in the event of an absence.
Necessary experience:
High school basketball playing experience: 2 years minimum
Previous coaching experience: 1+ years (preferred)

Job Duties & Responsibilities
* May initiate, schedule, coordinate and conduct scheduled practices
* Demonstrate Christian concern for athlete's academic, athletic, social and spiritual development
* Provide a system for issuing athletic equipment to athletes and supervision of such equipment
* Recruit athletes to sports program in coordination with Admission Department and Director of Athletics
