The Assistant Coach position is responsible for assisting the Head Coach the development of the athletic program by teaching the fundamentals and advanced skills of the particular sport while following the Colorado High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) guidelines. ABOUT RCS: Resurrection Christian School is a private, non-denominational Christian college-preparatory school located in Loveland, Colorado. Founded in 1998 by Rez.Church, Resurrection Christian School serves students from Pre-K through 12th grade. RCS is the largest Christian school in Northern Colorado, serving over 1100 families from 19 communities over a 25-mile radius. School enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is approximately 1,470 students. RCS is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI); AdvancED. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES OF THE COACH TOWARDS THE DEPARTMENT Meet with the AD. Complete preseason, weekly in season, and postseason meetings. Implement off-season workouts that help improve the individual skill set of the student athlete. This needs to be ready to present at the postseason meeting with the AD. Communicate effectively with administration, participants, assistant coaches, parents, boosters, and support staff (AT, Strength Coach, etc.). Ensure that all parties have the information that is needed in a timely manner to properly execute their duties.
