Minimum Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in any relevant field of study with minimum 1 year of experience with the following relevant work experience: At least two years of experience in coaching at the intercollegiate level is strongly preferred, however, extensive player experience at the collegiate level can be substituted for the coaching experience. Job Duties
* Assumes responsibility for a particular aspect of the women's lacrosse program as assigned by the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach, planning short and long terms objectives under the leadership of the head coach, demonstrating technical expertise in the basics of the sport, and teaching the fundamentals and advanced level skills and game strategies to student-athletes, recruiting players including determining which schools to visit and which athletes to recruit, recommending the selection of team members, supervising practice sessions, scouting future opponents, providing expert advice to the head coach and team members, providing guidance or mentoring to student athletes throughout the academic year, coordinating with the Academic Assistance staff members, and monitoring academic progress of participating student-athletes.
* Protects the integrity of the women's lacrosse program and the reputation of the intercollegiate athletics program of the University by ensuring that recruiting activities, student-athlete eligibility determination, scholarships and financial aid programs, scheduled practice sessions, and related activities governed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) are in compliance with NCAA rules and regulations as well as applicable conference rules and University policies.
* Reduces the likelihood of sports-related injuries or the aggravation of such injuries during practice sessions and scheduled contests by being knowledgeable of the injuries sustained in the sport and proper prevention methods, supervising appropriate pre-training session and pre-contest preparations and warmups, and referring injured student-athletes to qualified sports medicine personnel or athletic trainers.
* Promotes a positive image of the intercollegiate athletics program and the University through participation in community and professional organizations, representing the University at professional meetings as required, promoting participation in community service activities by student athletes, and supporting established athletic fund-raising goals by actively participating in fund-raising events and promotional activities for intercollegiate athletics, assists in the formulation of team and department fundraising activities, as directed by the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach and the Director of Athletics.
* Contributes to the overall success of the University's intercollegiate athletics program by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach.

Reporting to the Head Football Coach, the Assistant Coach - Outside Linebackersis responsible for all administrative and organizational aspects of the defense, specifically the Safeties, Nickels, and Field. The Assistant Football Coach will support the Head Football Coach in the duties of successfully operating NCA&T's defensive football program, including but not limited to coordination of defensive schemes/personnel/staff, recruiting student-athletes, planning practice sessions/game preparation/game-day coaching, monitoring the student-athletes academically and managing game day responsibilities.
The Assistant Coach must operate within the guidelines of an NCAA Division I football program and within the mission of the University and its philosophy of intercollegiate athletics. The Assistant Coach will guide and actively encourage student-athletes to succeed academically, acquire a degree and represent the University with the highest integrity.
The Assistant Coach is also responsible for supporting and executing the development and administration of offensive game plans and the materials necessary to execute them, the recruitment of student-athletes, adhering to NCAA, Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), and University regulations with regard to recruiting, admission standards and eligibility, monitoring student-athlete academic progress, and assisting in the establishment of effective media relations.
The Assistant Coach, as assigned by the Head Football Coach, will assist in fundraising activities and serve as a representative of the University to the outside community when appropriate.

Demonstrated expertise in coaching football, specifically coaching offensive positions; minimum of 5 years coaching experience at the collegiate level. Ability to work in concert with Head Coach and other Assistant Coaches to lead and motivate student-athletes. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. A working knowledge of NCAA & CAA rules and regulations.
