Sidney figures it wasn’t until 1984 or so, some 6 years after his purchase, that he notes the Coast Inn is now predominately a gay community.
Blue Coast Hotels Limited was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on July 27 1992 in Delhi and obtained Certificate of Commencement of Business on September 7 1992.
When Steven Udar-Hazy purchased about 2005, his process to approval to build was at least 5 years.
As the Boom Boom Room continued to grow in popularity over the next few decades, it gained a reputation as one of the area’s premier gay nightclubs and social centers until it shuttered its doors in September 2007.
He sold to Chris & Marcella Dornin in 2013.
These three wonderful and successful hotels have been a stool, a three legged stool, for the city to depend on which contributed to Laguna’s growth for the last 88 years as of 12-2017.
In 2018, a portion of the Inn was meticulously restored to its former Gilded Age glory and is now located in a new residential community in the affluent town of Bellair, just minutes from downtown Clearwater and its world famous sugar sand beach.
