The Consumer Lending Systems Manager leads a team that supports the credit union's consumer lending operations through system integrations, vendor management, loan pricing and market research, and portfolio performance reporting. This role ensures that lending products remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with the credit union's growth objectives. As a key contributor to the Coastal team, your responsibilities will be: (30%) System Integrations & Technology * Oversee the implementation and optimization of consumer lending platforms, driving enhancements through advanced technologies and leveraging artificial intelligence to improve integrations with core systems. * Partner with internal business units and vendors to ensure smooth deployment of new technologies. * Stay current on emerging technologies, system upgrades, and modifications; develop recommendations to enhance system capabilities; and lead all system upgrades and installations, including developing and executing test plans, and documenting outcomes to ensure successful implementation. (20%) Vendor Management * Manage relationships with lending technology providers, credit bureaus, and other third-party vendors to ensure optimal efficiency and service. * Serve as the primary owner and lead for consumer lending systems, ensuring full integration of systems and processes that support underwriting, processing, funding, and post-closing activities for vehicle loans, credit cards, personal loans, and home equity loans. Systems may include Meridian Link, First Close, Zest, Clutch, Dealertrack, RouteOne, and Origence. (20%) Loan Pricing & Product Support * Compile, produce reporting, present recommendations to management, and maintain competitive loan pricing across indirect and direct auto, personal loans, credit cards and home equity loans. * Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for new lending products and make recommendations to management accordingly. * Lead all campaigns for acquisition, recapture, and utilization for all consumer lending products. (15%) Portfolio Assessment & Analysis * Monitor loan portfolio performance, including delinquency, yield, turn times and risk metrics. Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership to guide strategic decisions. You are responsible for managing loans from disbursal through loan boarding and final loan documentation storage. Essential Responsibilities: (35%) Complete audit review of executed real estate closing packages and supporting loan documentation to verify regulatory compliance and SECU policies, ensuring fair and responsible lending as well as accurately secured lien-position and collateral. This includes TILA and RESPA (TRID/Regulation X and Z). (20%) Audit SECU closing fees and escrow related disbursements against the closing settlement disbursement summary and executed Closing Disclosure/HUD. Report any discrepancies discovered and verify with the appropriate closing agent where discrepancies should be refunded or expensed during loan booking.
