Working at Coastal Farm & Ranch

The team effort. The majority of individuals working at Coastal carries their weight or at least stays out of the way not to inhibit the others. Most are knowledgeable and provide a key benefit to their team's sector of the store. Most of us take pride in our work ethics, both on the clock or off the clock we're country folks who are always hard working in which our customer's notice the difference when they meet our competitor's employees.

Our customers get frustrated (as do we) when trying to get the price of items. My section department was lacking individuals to keep it running smoothly, I got hired on during a what I would describe as "A hot mess" and we're still sorting it out a month later. But it's going to look damn good when we finish getting it properly in order once again.

The swag bag. The store level employee appreciation events. The store employee phone app has been very handy, everything I need or want to know about is in the palm of my hand. Ex: pay, schedule, pay stubs, tax info, clock in/out, and be able to communicate to any store associate (local store).

In all honesty, I don't know anything about the CEO or executives of the store.

Encourage more feedback during the morning meeting; perhaps someone has a suggestion of how to approach each section's assignments with improved efficiently, plans how to accomplish it.

I had already been working at the neighboring store as Loss Prevention, came over and introduced myself to network in hopes of partnering together to minimize theft at our two store by sharing the newest patterns of theft, and hive the heads up that the theifts were running off to their parking lot and beware of potential security risks walking/running theie way.

In my experience, it's very well as I was hired on being paid more than minimum wage.

There is a lacking of POC, and LGBTQ but I honestly haven't met/worked alongside with anyone who would have any remarks or objections to anyone hired who was any of the above. Just haven't seem any of the above apply for work at my location. I'm encouraging a previous old colleague to appy as she would make a great addition to the company & team.

Finishing an assignment, and thinking of all the hard work and/or team effort that went in to finishing it.
