For the past nine years, Angel has acted as Chief Executive Officer to Coastal Family Health Center. During her tenure, Coastal has grown from 11 sites in 3 counties to 25 sites across 6 counties, and the organization has achieved behavioral health integration in 2013, EHR/EDR implementation in 2014, NCQA Level 3 PCMH recognition is 2016, merger with another health center in 2017, JCAHO accreditation for ambulatory care and behavioral health care in 2019, and increased revenues from $12M to $22M. Prior to her executive role, Angel served in various positions of increasing responsibilities including chief of operations and director of nursing. Ms. Greer is a long standing member of the Community Health Center Association of MS where she currently serves as President. Angel serves on various local councils and remains actively engaged in a variety of community groups. Ms. Greer also enjoys serving others through teaching and mentoring and community service.

In 2002 co-founded and model architect of Ibn Sina Foundation, a nonprofit designed to provide primary and dental care services to low-income and indigent individuals; appointed founding CEO in 2004. Grew the Foundation from one strip center clinic in 2002 to six stand-alone clinics throughout Greater Houston (by December 2013). Ibn Sina Foundation is one of the largest nonprofit community clinic systems in the state of Texas providing nearly 80,000 patient visits per year. Cultivated Ibn Sina Foundation's annual budget from 25,000 per year to more than $6,000,000 per year in 2013. In 2012 was awarded St. Luke's Episcopal Charities highest honor, Community Health Leadership Award.
