Arlene Corbin Lewis is a CEO at Checkerspot Properties LLC and Chief Communications and Marketing Officer at Code for America and is based in Washington d.c. Metro Area. She has worked as Communications Associate Director, Government Relations and Advocacy at Habitat for Humanity; Director of Strategic Communications at Urban Institute; and Communications and Outreach Manager at Equal Rights Center. Arlene attended University of Windsor between 1997 and 1999, Brock University between 1993 and 1997, and Iona College between 1999 and 2001.

Lou Moore is the Chief Technology Officer at Code for America. Lou most recently served as VP of Software at Jawbone where he led software development from applications to infrastructure, and focused on delivering products that helped people to live happier, healthier, and longer. He got his start building high-performance technical teams and effective consumer products at scale while serving as Director of Product Engineering at social networking destination hi5. Lou hails from Wisconsin originally and holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Northwestern University. He is a member of CTOs For Good.

Emily K. Tracy (she/her) is a social sector fundraising executive with extensive experience serving mission-driven advocacy organizations. Prior to joining Code for America, Emily served as the Chief Development Officer at Polaris, the leading anti-trafficking organization in the U.S. where she oversaw planning, growth, and diversification of revenue, including institutional funding, individual support, and earned revenue.

Before joining Polaris, Emily was the National Director of Development at NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, where she doubled individual giving revenue. She also worked in the higher education sector to secure support from graduate and law school alumni. Emily served as Director of Development at PROVAIL, a multiservice agency in Seattle that provides life opportunities for people living with disabilities. Emily’s career has also included directing the foundation relations team at the Center for Food Safety and Oceana.

Emily, her husband, and two cats, Gallatin and Madison, live in beautiful Big Sky, MT. She loves hiking, fly fishing, nordic skiing, 80s music, all things Costco, and gardening in the quest for the perfect heirloom tomato. She holds an MS from Marymount University and a BA from The George Washington University.

Leslie Campbell is a seasoned professional who has provided HR and operational leadership to a number of mission-driven organizations. With over 25 years of experience, Leslie was previously Vice President of People Operations at Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI). Before joining CZI, Leslie served as Vice President of Human Resources for California College of the Arts, where she led various initiatives, including the oversight of Title IX, the establishment of market-based compensation, Staff Advisory, and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force.

Previously, Leslie provided leadership development services to Fortune 500 companies as a consultant at PDI Ninth House, a global management consulting firm.

Leslie has a Masters of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology. She continues to pursue social justice in her community as a founding member of the Piedmont Racial Equity Campaign, which aims to establish racial equity in Piedmont’s city, schools, and housing. In her spare time, Leslie can be found cheering on her son in the Special Olympics.

Ryan Ko is the Chief of Staff at Code for America. He spent seven years at McKinsey & Company leading teams that supported state governments on large IT megaprojects (with a focus on Integrated Eligibility Systems and Medicaid Management Information Systems), counseled technology firms on strategy and operations, advised non-profit institutions on a variety of education and edtech topics, and published in-depth research on the future of work and automation. Ryan moonlights as a progressive activist, with campaign experience at national, state, and local levels, and is a member of TechEquity Collaborative's Housing Committee. He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT. A lifelong Bay Area native, Ryan enjoys rooting for Bay Area sports teams and can be found playing basketball, poker, chess, or watching reruns of The West Wing.
