Responsible for auditing, documenting and updating customer installed base line survey information for our database.
Report any customer complaints about our equipment performance to assigned FieldService Supervisor.
Participate in joint visits with the sales team, FieldService Supervisor, and other internal team members to assist with sales opportunities or voice of customer information gathering.
Upsell customers on aftermarket parts or services (eg TrueBlue PM Program).
Participate in ongoing training of our products.
Education and Experience Requirements
College degree in a Technical Program.
Skills and Abilities
Strong Mechanical & electrical knowledge/understanding.
Strong knowledge of pneumatic & hydraulic systems/components.
Strong ability to read and understand manuals, parts lists, component drawings, dimensional drawings, hydraulic & pneumatic schematics, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Familiarity with using common tools and equipment (i.e. Multi-Meter).
Comfortable working with hi-temp, hi-pressure, and hi-voltage equipment (240VAC - 480VAC).

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Fiber Splicer / Field Operations Technician to join our nationwide team. This full-time, travel-based role is critical to the deployment and maintenance of high-performance fiber optic networks across the country.
The ideal candidate will have practical, in-the-field experience with fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshooting, and be comfortable working independently in dynamic environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, splice, and test single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cables and connectors
Perform OTDR, power meter, and light source testing for end-to-end validation
Interpret fiber optic schematics, splice plans, and network diagrams
Conduct troubleshooting and resolve technical issues efficiently in the field
Complete preventative maintenance and report potential infrastructure issues

Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project teams to support deployments
Manage and maintain inventory of fiber optic tools, test gear, and consumables

REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
Proven field experience with fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing
Strong understanding of OTDRs, power meters, fusion splicers, and related equipment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
