Our primary marketplace is Washington, Oregon, and Idaho with other potential opportunities across the United States. This position will assist in managing, designing, and detailing bridge projects of a variety of sizes and complexities. However, some work in the field will be required at times. Working in a variety of environments with the appropriate safety procedures and equipment may include working at heights, confined spaces, near highway vehicle traffic and ariel lift platforms. Qualifications A four-year degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with an emphasis in bridge engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited university Master's Degree in Structural Engineering preferred. Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) 0-3 years of experience Internship in the structural design of bridges and/or buildings and similar structures preferred. Successful completion of the following: structural/bridge engineering course work (preferred): Prestressed Design, Reinforced Concrete Design, Steel Design, Structural Dynamics or Earthquake Engineering, Foundation Design, Timber Design.
