BCW Global CEO and leadership

Brooke Hovey serves as Global Chief Growth Officer for BCW, an integrated communications agency created through the merger of Burson-Marsteller and Cohn & Wolfe. In this role, she leads global business development and strategic initiatives to drive growth of the agency. She also works to ensure that BCW clients -- our #1 focus -- have access to the talent and resources they need.

Previously, Hovey held the roles of Chief Client Officer and EVP of Strategy for Cohn & Wolfe, designing digitally-driven, integrated marketing programs for a portfolio of top agency clients. In addition, as a senior leader in Cohn & Wolfe's Digital Innovation Group, she was responsible for the advancement of Cohn & Wolfe's digital strategy; digital service offerings and thought leadership; and the recruitment and development of digital talent. Her experience spans various industries, including retail/CPG, technology, hospitality, food/beverage, energy, travel and consumer health.

Hovey served as a Senior Vice President in Cohn & Wolfe’s Digital Media Practice and Managing Director of the Austin, Texas office from 2009-2011.

She joined GCI Group Los Angeles (part of Grey) in 2002 and transferred to the Austin office in 2007. Through a merger, the company became Cohn & Wolfe.

Client experience includes: Newell Brands (Sharpie, Paper Mate, Graco, Rubbermaid, Elmer's Glue), Alcon, Colgate-Palmolive, ExxonMobil, Dell, Nike, Maserati, Hilton Hotels, Walmart, Sam's Club, Margaritaville, Starbucks, Medtronic, Whole Foods Market and GAP.



In August 2009, PRWeek named Hovey to its “Top 40 Under 40” list, an annual ranking of the communications industry’s 40 most accomplished PR professionals under the age of 40. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in corporate communications.

Her home is Austin, Texas (always), though she spends as much time in New York, London and elsewhere.
