Our client, a boutique law firm in Southern Florida that serves as captive counsel to a top real estate investment firm with tens of billions of AUM, wishes to hire a lawyer with at least three years' experience (JD 2022 or senior) to handle complex real estate finance transactions. This is a newly-created role driven by expansion, not backfilling after a departure. Our client will cover relocation costs for the successful candidate. You will regularly interface with the investment firm's business teams, working to make sure processes run smoothly. Deal flow will be steady, with typically six projects running concurrently. It will be a mix of borrowers- and lenders-side representation.
You will join a highly collaborative legal team with an amazing culture and extremely low attrition. The role is wholly in-office (save for a remote month every summer). The workload is akin to being a partner-track associate at an AmLaw-ranked firm, with base salary and target bonus that track with the Cravath scale.
This is a chance to manage sophisticated, interesting deals supporting a single client alongside a great team and under the supervision of a supportive mentor who is an excellent lawyer. It blends the best aspects of private practice (access to sophisticated deals with way less bureaucracy) with the perks of being in-house (being a stragic advisor and business partner to a single company; taking on a more hands-on role; consistent, direct client interaction; being part of a smaller legal team).

Required Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school;
• Admitted and in good standing to a state bar - and willingness to sit for the Florida bar exam (firm will pay associated fees);
• At least three years' relevant experience at a top law firm or in-house (some experience at an AmLaw-ranked firm a must);
• Deep working knowledge of real estate finance law strongly preferred (willing to consider someone with experience supporting finance or other banking deals involving other asset classes);
• Exposure to loan originations, refinancings, mezzanine loans, and similar transactions strongly preferred;

Key Responsibilities
Achieve KPI targets, budgets, and objectives by creatively connecting with our clients whether they are in-store or virtual.
Builds and maintains a loyal client base, retaining client loyalty by providing clients with exceptional personalized service.
Serve as a resource for general product knowledge and operational compliance, ensuring customer service standards are met and prioritized and the sales floor is a welcoming environment.
Manage productivity in down time and maintain cleanliness/organizational standards.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
2+ years of experience in a retail environment. Experience in the lingerie or luxury industry is strongly preferred.
Strong sense of self-awareness, self-direction, reliability, motivation, time management, and problem solving skills with an acute attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with customers, peers, and store management.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
