Everyone supports each other and respects diversity and ones own beliefs. It is a beautiful campus and there are opportunities for advancement and growth if you seek them out.
The pay isn't so great for support staff and like many other companies trying to do more with less, people are often overworked and burnout occurs. Tuition benefits don't kick in for families until after 6 years of employment, but they are very good if you can plan accordingly.
It is a smaller college and everyone I work with supports each other.
Managers are approachable and understanding. I feel I get support when I have concerns.
Increasing pay and updating tuition policies would be appealing to me to stay at Colby.
Research the company I am working for and the people I will be interviewing with so that I have a better understanding and I am prepared to ask questions that will be constructive.
Currently is seems low.
DEI is something that needs work, but the college is working to hire appropriate staffing in this area to help initiate change and raise awareness.
The people I work with, it is a nice group of folks who really seem to be invested in the work being done and supporting both the students and people they work with.
