The Project SOAR Peer Mentors will assist in planning and delivering programming, and providing outreach within SOAR. Contact logs will be turned into supervisor to show progress with students.
Attend as many SOAR sponsored events (orientation, workshops, field trips, as possible. This includes community events & campus visits. Help with set up, student coordination, clean up, etc.
Initiate and maintain contact monthly with students.
Notify students about all SOAR and campus events through text, email, phone call, social media, & other campus communication channels. Maintain main Project SOAR email inbox and resolve emails or pass along as necessary.
Maintain accurate records & perform data entry for contacts with students in the SOAR program.
Attend Peer Mentor meetings.
Notify supervisor about student progress and concerns.
Coordinate study sessions for students.
Participate in program recruitment and assist with intake process.

PREREQUISITES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Bucklin Tractor & Implement Co. (BTI) is looking for a highly motivated Mobile Service Technican to join our team in our Greensburg location. A Service Technician;s primary responsibility is to independently perform complex on-site diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer agricultural and turf equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, Service Location Manager, or Shop Foreman.

Responsibilities:
Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology
Reports any additional work required on equipment to ensure proper operation and safety
Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and on time submittal of information
Keeping records required to establish cost of parts and labor charge to customer
Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field as required
Handle customer issues objectively and tactfully
Answer service phone calls and assisting the customer accordingly
Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
Participate in John Deere training courses and other continuing education classes, as assigned
Perform related and other duties, as assigned
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred.
Valid driver's license is required
Minimum 1-2 years of experience performing mechanical service repairs required
Located in the Kinsley or Lewis area, highly preferred
Ag Tech Graduate or 2 years of John Deere experience preferred
Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment, following Technical Manual procedures
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for diagnostic purposes
Experience with basic computer functions; experience using Service ADVISOR™ or other computer based diagnostic repair tools preferred
Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
