Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
Support newborn care immediately following birth, including assessments and interventions.
Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care.
Educate patients and families on birth plans, recovery, and newborn care.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
2 years of Labor & Delivery experience in an acute care setting.
Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Travel nursing experience in L&D or maternal-child health units.
