Collaborative Solutions for Communities (CSC) seeks a collaborative and strategic professional to serve as Executive Coordinator. The Executive Coordinator will support the work of the Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer and CSC Leadership. The Executive Coordinator will be expected to work collaboratively with staff, contractors, partner agencies, and stakeholders.
Principle Accountabilities
Provide executive-level support to the ED and COO with a high degree of initiative, judgement, and discretion;
Develop and maintain a basic knowledge of all major initiatives of the organization;
Manage a complex schedule for the ED and COO and handle frequent reprioritizations that will often require independent decision making. Duties under this include:
Schedule appointments and meetings, coordinate resources, and assemble appropriate reference and back-up material for all meetings including meetings set by the ED and COO;
Schedule ED and COO meetings with high-level leaders of other organizations, with the appropriate combination of assertiveness and deference;
Ensure the ED and COO is well prepared for meetings and other internal/external activities;
Coordinate travel arrangements: develop itineraries, book flights and hotel arrangements, reserve meeting facilities, and perform other necessary arrangements as needed including travel scheduled by the ED and COO.
Serve as a point of contact for the ED and COO;
Proactively identify and exercise independent analysis and judgement in prioritizing situations requiring the ED and COO s attention;
Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with the CSC Board of Directors,
Track the ED and COO s project deadlines and needs, while also simultaneously meeting one s own deliverables;
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts degree, Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent degree;
2 to 5 years of experience in complex coordination of activities, management, or comparable experience;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues. This includes overcoming geographic and other potential barriers to communicating with and making contributions to the team s work;
Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines;

Position Purpose
The Family Services Coordinator under the general supervision of the Executive Director is responsible for providing case management and services to families in the CSC area. The incumbent provides a strengths-based approach to family permanency and stability; facilitates family group conferences/family unity meetings, as needed, to identify and assess family supports. He/she provides counseling services, and appropriate resource and referral. The incumbent maintains records; case plans and appropriate documentation of family contacts and assessments. He/she provides written reports on status of children and families. The incumbent supervises, consults and advises the family support workers and interns to ensure consistent application of policies and to provide information and advice regarding services and referrals. He/she also provides supervision to interns. Lastly, the incumbent will provide rotating emergency coverage.
Principle Accountabilities
Case Management - Maintain records on families to meet CFSA requirements. Facilitate family group conferences or meetings to assess total family support network. Engage families and other supports to assess families needs and implement interventions that are goal oriented and achievable. Document all interactions with families and children; provide home-based therapy and family group conferencing and produce periodic reports to ensure progress and decreased dependency on support systems. Complete all necessary reports in a timely manner. Attend Administrative reviews and court hearing as required equipped with all necessary and pertinent documentation.
Clinical Services- Conduct on-going assessment of the family s strengths and progress towards independence or permanency goals. Effectively plans and implements interventions in the progress of case planning. Determine the necessity of counseling and skill training to family around child management and developmental issues. Provide counseling and identifies resources to address client needs. Seeks clinical supervision when planning interventions.
Collaboration - Maintain relationships with other community agencies, educational institutions, businesses and service providers to advocate for clients. Participate in internal and external meetings in spirit of mutual support of families advocate for needed resources and services and to ensure families are provided with all possible resources available.
Supervision Reviews current skills of family support workers and interns, provides appropriate work assignments and case supervision. Identify strengths and deficiencies and develop a professional development plans with assigned staff/interns. Orient interns to school requirements and departmental/organizational requirements. Complete all reports necessary for intern placements. Provide support and direction to staff to increase their ability to handle more progressively responsible functions.
Program - Participates and provides information as needed to appropriate personnel in the development of new programs and initiatives. Identify gaps in services to children and families and suggests methods or plans to address gaps in services.
New Staff Provide leadership, and actively engage new staff in developing knowledge of CSC, the strengths based approach, and the framework in which community based social work practices are implemented. Acts as a resource for new staff by providing guidance and support when necessary.
Education
Bachelor s degree, preferably Master s in Social Work from an accredited school of social work or related field. LICSW or eligible to take exam within one year of appointment.
Experience
Three years of experience in child welfare, training in family systems theory, strength-based approach and behavioral family therapy. Excellent problem solving, analytical, organizational, and oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize work.

The Family Services Director with a LICSW OR LCSW will work under the direct supervision of the Executor Director, is responsible for program oversight; provision of structured training to intensive clinical services division; program development and implementation; provision of technical assistance and clinical consultation to partners and citywide; and quality assurance.
He/she provides leadership to the Family Services staff, ensures programs and initiatives are in alignment with organizational goals and strengthens the provider network of CSC. He/she performs in a team environment, emphasizing team interdependence, shared accountability and problem solving at the level of service provision. The incumbent also participates in the Program Review committee meetings to keep participants informed of new initiatives and clinical and/or program developments and any changes that affect work practices. The incumbent participates in a wide variety of other community-related committees and meetings.
Principle Accountabilities
Training - Design, develop and implement a variety of internal and external training curriculum's to move social work practices to a strengths-based, family centered and community focused approach. Manage and periodically evaluate training curriculum's ensure its effectiveness. Review and revise curriculum content and/or materials as necessary to rectify any deficiencies Engage membership agencies and other agencies in reforming the current social work practices to a model of strengths based practices.
Clinical Skills - Provide clinical oversight/consultation on high risk and/or difficult cases internally and externally to Child Family Services Administration to monitor continuity of services and ensure appropriate and consistent application of strengths based approach and to monitor the referral process of service providers. Occasionally review documentation from case records to ensure appropriate application of prevention and intervention practices and/or techniques.
Technical Assistance - Provide technical assistance/consultation to program partners to promote increased family stability and independence. Provide direction and supervision to Managers and/or staff to assist in crisis.
Supervision - Conduct weekly supervisory sessions with Family Services Manager to review difficult cases, provide direction and guidance and to identify strengths and deficiencies with appropriate course(s) of action. Effectively collaborates with Family Services Manager and assists in the performance evaluation process of Social Workers.
Program and Community Meetings Coordinate and participate in Program Review Committee and member agencies meeting. Provide necessary information to keep participants informed of new initiatives and clinical and/or program developments changes that affect current work practices.
Education
LICSW, or LCSW with a Master degree in Social Work.
Experience
Five-year experience post graduate in Mental Health or Child Welfare with experience in program design and implementation. At least two-year experience in training and/or facilitation. Previous supervisory and management experience in non-profit or community-based social services agency. Demonstrated leadership skills. Experience in program development and evaluation. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft products.
Ability to analyze data. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Experience in grant and/or proposal writing.

Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by the state laws governing the practice of speech therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team.
Evaluates the patient's level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests. Assists the physician in the development of the therapy plan of care.
Treats patients to communicate effectively by expressing thoughts according to the patient's condition using acceptable standards of practice.
Observes, records, and reports to the supervising nurse and/or physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition.
Instructs the patient, the family and/or caregiver and other members of the health care team in areas of speech therapy in which they can participate.
Visits patient according to plan of treatment, completes a progress note for each visit, and submits progress notes per LHC policy .
Completes all patient evaluations and develops the ST plan of care within state specific guidelines. Reports outcomes of evaluation, goals, and anticipated projected frequency of care to supervising nurse within 24 hours of the evaluation.
Participates in staff conferences and committees as necessary.
Provides in-services to agency staff upon request of supervising nurse.
Sends the supervising nurse and/or the physician a written summary report on patient's condition at least every 60 days.
License Requirements
Must be currently licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of Washington
Current CPR certification
Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation

The Program Manager under the general supervision of the Family Service Director is responsible for providing case management and services to families. The incumbent provides a strengths-based approach to family permanency and stability; facilitates family group conferences/family unity meetings, as needed, to identify and assess family supports. He/she provides counseling services, and appropriate resource and referral. The incumbent maintains records; case plans and appropriate documentation of family contacts and assessments. He/she provides written reports on status of children and families. The incumbent supervises, consults and advises the family support workers and interns to ensure consistent application of policies and to provide information and advice regarding services and referrals. He/she also provides supervision to interns. Lastly, the incumbent will provide rotating emergency coverage.
Principle Accountabilities
Case Management - Maintain records on families to meet specific program requirements. Facilitate family group conferences or meetings to assess total family support network. Engage families and other supports to assess families needs and implement interventions that are goal oriented and achievable. Document all interactions with families and children; provide in home services, family group conferencing and produce periodic reports to ensure progress and decreased dependency on support systems. Complete all necessary reports in a timely manner. Attend Administrative reviews and court hearing as required equipped with all necessary and pertinent documentation.
Clinical Services- Conduct on-going assessment of the family s strengths and progress towards independence or permanency goals. Effectively plans and implements interventions in the progress of case planning. Determine the necessity of counseling and skill training to family around child management and developmental issues. Provide counseling and identifies resources to address client needs. Seeks clinical supervision when planning interventions.
Collaboration - Maintain relationships with other community agencies, educational institutions, businesses and service providers to advocate for clients. Participate in internal and external meetings in spirit of mutual support of families advocate for needed resources and services and to ensure families are provided with all possible resources available.
Supervision Reviews current skills of family support workers and interns, provides appropriate work assignments and case supervision. Identify strengths and deficiencies and develop a professional development plans with assigned staff/interns. Orientate interns to school requirements and departmental/organizational requirements. Complete all reports necessary for intern placements. Provide support and direction to staff to increase their ability to handle more progressively responsible functions.
Program - Participates and provides information as needed to appropriate personnel in the development of new programs and initiatives. Identify gaps in services to children and families and suggests methods or plans to address gaps in services.
New Staff Provide leadership, and actively engage new staff in developing knowledge of CSC, the strengths-based approach, and the framework in which community based social work practices are implemented. Acts as a resource for new staff by providing guidance and support when necessary.
Education
Bachelor s degree, preferably Master s in Social Work from an accredited school of social work or related field. LGSW required.
Experience
Three years of experience in child welfare, training in family systems theory, strength-based approach and behavioral family therapy. Excellent problem solving, analytical, organizational, and oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize work
