CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit agency, is looking for seasonal Warming Center Mentor(s). The Warming Center provides emergency overnight shelter for the unhoused from December through March. The Warming Center provides a warm safe place for unsheltered individuals to spend the night during the winter months. Key Responsibilities * Greet guests and make them feel welcome and comfortable. * Be a positive role model, through professional behavior and communication. * Provide a safe and healthy environment through education, guidance, and personal interaction. * Ensure cleanliness of the center and inform center manager of any maintenance issues. * Responsible for guest safety, proving crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed. * Must adhere to staffing schedules to provide adequate and safe staffing coverage to accomplish program objectives.
