Pennsylvania is the best state for jobs for collection agents, and South Dakota is the worst. The most common pay in Pennsylvania is $40,541, while the median pay in South Dakota is $23,370.We found that the West is best for collection agents, and the Northeast is the worst. Livingston, NJ is the best city in the country for collection agent jobs, where as Pennsylvania is the best state in the country.
