Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities for multiple sites.
Manage and mentor a small team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to support their growth and development.
Review and analyze inventory accounting, cost allocations, and production variances to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Collaborate with plant controllers, operations, and supply chain to align financial results with production performance and business objectives.
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting policies, maintaining strong internal controls and documentation.
Prepare and review financial statements, supporting schedules, and management reports.
Support the annual audit and coordinate with external auditors on required schedules and documentation.
Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, leveraging automation and best practices to enhance efficiency.
Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Participate in ERP or system upgrades, ensuring data integrity and alignment with accounting needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing or product-based environment.
Strong foundation in general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
Experience managing and mentoring a small team of accounting professionals.
Working knowledge of inventory, standard costing, and variance analysis.
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work cross-functionally.

The Role:
As the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting and Operations at Cart.com, you will oversee all aspects of our revenue accounting functions, including revenue recognition, allocations, and revenue systems. As the Manager, Rentals Collections, you will lead a team of collections professionals responsible for end-to-end B2B collections activity for the Rentals business. You will set the strategic and operational direction for your team, balancing performance management, process optimization, and partnership with internal stakeholders to drive measurable improvements in collections results. 7+ years of experience in B2B Credit and Collections, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity managing teams or team leads.
Proven ability to drive measurable improvements in key collections metrics (e.g., days overdue, days to pay, dispute resolution cycle time).
Deep understanding of the order-to-cash process, with expertise in collections operations and customer account management.
Hands-on experience with collections and financial systems such as Zuora, HighRadius, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle, or SAP.
Strong operational focus with the ability to build, document, and refine collections workflows and policies.
Proficient in spreadsheet tools such as Excel and Google Sheets, with the ability to organize, analyze, and present data efficiently.

Cyber Forensics in Accounting (ACCT 645):

Focus is on disentangling obscure evidence discovered during fraud investigations using data analytics. Activities include conducting a forensic accounting investigation, performing analytical tests on financial data, preparing written forensic accounting reports for legal proceedings, and serving as an expert witness providing testimony supported by evidence and analytical tests.
Information Technology Auditing (ACCT 660):
This course integrates subject matter from accounting and information systems program courses. Advanced principles, techniques, and theories are applied through the analysis and presentation of case studies by student teams. Assignments include a research paper that comprehensively assesses an important current issue or emerging trend in the fields off accounting and information systems.
CyberAccounting: Risk Management (ACCT 670):
A capstone exploration of the principles of risk management as practiced by federal, state, and local entities. Discussion examines cyber accounting risks management as promulgated by professional accounting organizations such as the AICPA. Risk management techniques are applied to cybersecurity issues confronting professional accounting service providers. Focus is on developing skills in assessing client risks, designing, and developing cybersecurity controls to mitigate cyber-attacks on client data, and conducting penetration tests to identify potential cyber accounting vulnerabilities.
Required Education and Experience:
A terminal degree (i.e. PhD, JD, DBA) in business or a related field is required from an accredited institution of higher learning
At least one certification in the cyber-security area from professional organizations, such as the ISACA-issued CISA

What You'll Do:

Monitor performance of all active loans, track collateral sales and loan balances, and edit loan statements
Provide statements and invoices to clients on a timely basis
Monitor active loan portfolio to ensure timely payment and assist in the resolution of delinquent accounts
Ensure the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship is in compliance with credit policy
Partner with the accounting department to prepare and verify borrower account reconciliations
Coordinate with the accounting department to pay expenses
Reporting
Maintain loan files, track record reports, and analysis of sale results relative to appraisals
Handle requests for information and paperwork from internal and external auditors and state regulatory agencies

Who You Are:
2 - 7 years of experience in collectibles, auction houses, client accounting, or private banking

Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts.
Use good judgement to enlist the efforts of account reps, sales, and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
Must communicate and follow up effectively with department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis.
Create, update and track customers who have not made payments and send collection letters.
Complete weekly and monthly reports to the manager on all accounts over 60 days.
Organize and prioritize collections according to the severity of delinquency.
Utilize phone, computer, and mail to contact customers regarding collections.
Constantly inform customers of overdue accounts and amount currently owed.
Review terms of insurance and Medicaid.
Ensure all customer information is correct, including, but not limited to phone numbers and addresses.
Professional and polite when communicating with customers to reach payment solution and determine if debt can be collected.
Always adhere to federal and state laws dealing with debt collection.
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Make account changes as needed for collections process and document in notes.
Promptly send terminations to appropriate staff as needed for collection accounts.
Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.
Emphasize customer service in all aspects of operations.
Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.
To work remotely, it is expected you will have a reliable, nonpublic high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in all work-related activities. Any interruptions in service should be immediately reported to your manager.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
3-5 years high volume collections experience in a corporate setting.
Knowledge of medical billing and collection procedures.
Advanced working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Genelco Group Plus
Strong data entry skills and phone/email etiquette
Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Must be detail oriented and self-motivated.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to problem solve independently and / or a team.
Work alongside team members.
Anticipate needs in a proactive manner to increase satisfaction.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
