**The Role**

We are a seeking a Lead Analyst to join our Collections & Recovery Strategy team in Wilmington, DE. This role will be responsible for driving business results and strategic insights by leading and performing complex projects and quantitative analyses. Working with various partners, the role will also have responsibilities of reporting, ad-hoc analyses, business performance presentations and test & control design. This individual will balance a challenging set of priorities and deliver results in a high-paced environment while representing the team in cross-functional, enterprise projects.

A successful candidate will possess proficiency in data analysis, a hunger for innovation and the ability to use analytics to improve customer experience and OneMain's financial performance. They will expand their competencies and grow their business and industry acumen, as well as demonstrate the ability to work on complex processes or projects across the end-to-end project cycle. This individual will also gain knowledge to suggest new answers to old questions, develop insights and push the traditional boundaries of the consumer lending.

**Responsibilities**

+ Apply advanced use of data analytics such as SAS, SQL, R, MATLAB, Python, or equivalent tools to design, execute and test strategies and reporting in support of: Loss mitigation strategy and investments decisions. Optimization of operating model across branch and centralized locations. Optimize and sequence collections/recovery channels.

+ Create strategies designed to optimize loss mitigation and revenue recovery strategies

+ Independently complete analyses, draw conclusions, present results to leaders and influence business / strategy decisions

+ Make recommendations for developing or modifying existing strategies or processes

+ Support a combination of recurring and ad-hoc requests and priorities

+ Continually enhance existing processes and reporting through automation, quality control, presentation, and insights

+ Work in a collaborative environment and partner with key stake holders including IT, Finance, execution, and operations

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's degree (Graduate degree is a plus) in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management or Computer Science

+ 3-4+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, SAS, R, Python (or equivalent statistical packages) in support of quantitative analytics

+ Experience with complex analysis within a personal loan or cards portfolio preferred

+ Experience partnering horizontally with other organizations such as technology, marketing, and operations

+ Innovative and capable of developing a highly analytical approach to solving problems

Responsibilities




Key member of a change delivery team responsible for value-based prioritization of business requests, development and delivery of solutions, and expedited resolution of defects
Administer and evolve fulfillment team’s request intake and prioritization process
Define, measure, analyze, improve, and sustain business processes and controls
Perform gap analyses on business and system process workflows
Document and translate functional and technical requirements and user stories
Understand Collections & Recovery business and ensure all planned changes are aligned to and support objectives and key results
Perform data analyses to diagnose business problems and inform solution approach
Embed a customer/user experience optimization mindset into all phases of the solution delivery lifecycle
Embed best practices regarding risk management and regulatory compliance into all phases of the solution delivery lifecycle
Plan and administer end-user training on newly delivered functionality
Coordinate and support user acceptance testing for newly delivered functionality
Work closely with and manage vendor performance and delivery













Qualifications
Required Skills




Experience documenting functional use cases, process workflows, functional design specifications, and data mapping
Previous exposure and general working knowledge of financial accounting, accounts receivable management (ARM), customer relationship management (CRM), auto-dialer, decision managment, payment systems and applications; specific familiarity with Debt Manager, the FICO platform, or DebtNext (dPlat) a plus
Previous exposure to and general conceptual knowledge of technical solution architecture in SaaS delivery configuration (batch processing and integrations, APIs, ETL processing, rules-based workflow)
Previous experience in a production support environment, troubleshooting issues, determining root cause, providing detailed analysis, and documented solutions
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, or equivalents required
Conceptual understanding of SQL, XML, and HTML/CSS a plus

Experience in the Collections & Recovery industry
Debt Next (dPlat) experience
Debt Manager experience
Proficiency in Access and VBA
Previous experience working on agile delivery teams a plus

ImpactLife is the exclusive provider of blood products and services to our partner hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. The blood center is based in Davenport, Iowa, where ImpactLife's testing, processing, and primary distribution center of blood components is located. Our Charges use their healthcare skills to oversee the blood collection operation and ensure collections run smoothly while providing donor care. Charges will carry out all functions of the donation process; donor registration, screening, physical, and phlebotomy.

What you should bring to the team:

+ Customer service experience

+ Have a good, stable work history

+ Understand the importance of following standard operating procedures

+ Healthcare experience is a plus

+ Be able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends

+ May train away from home for up to two weeks at a time (Mobiles)

+ Possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by our insurance carrier (Mobiles)

+ Pass a pre-employment background and drug screen

This is a full-time position working 30-39 hours per week and requires the ability to work varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
