Job Description:
The Visiting Professor of Childhood Education/Special Education is a full member of the School of Education for Spring 2026. This faculty role includes teaching a mix of online graduate courses and in-person undergraduate courses, as well as supporting student teaching coordination. The Visiting Professor must demonstrate a strong commitment to serving diverse groups of graduate students and possess up-to-date knowledge in childhood and special education. Key areas include assessment and evaluation, collaboration with professionals and diverse families/communities, inclusive practices, effective instructional methods, and interventions such as positive behavioral approaches. Knowledge of federal, state, and NYC education laws and policies is also essential. The role requires effective collaboration with full-time and adjunct faculty, partner representatives, and agency personnel.
Responsibilities:
* Teach graduate coursework in childhood education and/or special education, both on campus and online.
* Assist the Clinical Placement Director with student teaching coordination.
* Attend and participate in regular School of Education faculty meetings.
* Attend monthly general faculty meetings.
* Support the School of Education's AAQEP and Middle States accreditation processes by submitting and reviewing assessment data to support ongoing program improvement.

In this role, the successful candidate would work collaboratively with physician assistant colleagues and colleagues from other disciplines, maintain clinical practice competence, remain actively involved in professional organizations, maintain scholarship in their field, and actively seek opportunities for and participate in faculty governance.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Department Chair and Program Director, responsible for:
Recruitment, application review, interviewing and selection of applicants for admission to the program
Coordination and instruction of didactic and clinical year PA students including lecture content, physical diagnosis, and procedural lab instruction
Evaluation of student performance and providing remediation as needed
Student advisement and counseling

Faculty are expected to be actively engaged with the local business community and with research in their respective fields of study, and through that, help prepare our students to be Day 1 Ready business professionals who will meaningfully impact their organization, communities, and society.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual who enjoys working in a fast-adapting, multidisciplinary environment and who shows enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues within the department and school as well as across disciplines.
Tenure-track faculty in the Department of Accounting and Finance carry a three-three teaching load. They are expected to be effective, innovative, and committed teachers and active researchers. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in multiple modalities (i.e., in person, online, and hybrid).
The successful candidate is expected to engage in scholarship to build and maintain a strong publication record, produce original research for publication in quality peer-reviewed journals. The candidate is also expected to advise students and perform service to the University and the profession. The candidate will have the following responsibilities:
* Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate accounting courses in the areas of financial and managerial accounting and business/accounting analytics
* Conduct and publish original, discipline-based scholarship in refereed journals to enable ongoing classification as "Scholarly Academic" under the guidelines of AACSB International.
* Maintain an active research agenda.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, advising and mentoring them as they progress through their studies.

The Department of Social & Behavioral Sciences is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach upper and lower-level courses in criminal justice. This position seeks a candidate with education or experience in cyber forensic investigations and/or working in cyber security or a closely associated field. The selected candidate must be able to convey contemporary methodologies to CJUS students, including how to conduct cyber investigations, collect evidence, and make presentations in a court.
The primary focus of this position is teaching, and the ideal candidate is one who is committed to full-time undergraduate teaching. Although some coursework may be taught online, this is an on-campus position and requires the selected candidate to be available to teach on campus.
