Position Specific Responsibilities
Possesses knowledge of developmental needs and in the assessment and treatment as it relates to the age of the patient population served.
Conducts and documents a comprehensive patient assessment upon admission.
Continually reassesses and applies appropriate advocacy and interventions as indicated.
Competent in the interpretation of a patient's self-assessment and behavior. This information must be interpreted with an understanding of the cognitive, physical emotional, psychosocial and chronological maturation process.
Collaborates with the patient, family and members of the healthcare team; develops, documents, implements and monitors an individualized plan of care which reflects a standard of care based on best practice and evidence-based medicine.
Adaptive to change and updated patient care practices within an evolving healthcare environment.
Legibly and electronically documents patient care activities and information in an accurate, concise, and timely manner.
Supports and assists with orientation of new staff and students.
Acquires necessary training and skills to competently perform the preceptor and charge nurse function when selected and functioning in those roles.
Demonstrates advancement of professional nursing practice through continuing education, required training, certification, and participation in department activities.
Takes an active role in building and maintaining an environment that fosters open communication, patient and family-centered care and healthy collegial relationships.
Demonstrates adaptive/timely communication based on individual patient/family needs.
Attends and participates in a minimum of 50% of scheduled staff meetings or has read the minutes and signed off on them and is responsible for meeting content regardless of attendance.
Education and/or Experience
Required - Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
WA/AK: Preferred - 1 year recent experience in home health, acute care or a skilled nursing facility.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
Required - Current, unencumbered WA License as a Registered Nurse.
Required - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed)

General Description:

Essential Functions:
* Administer the college's LMS (currently Canvas), including term setup, course creation, cross-listing and merging, enrollment accuracy, and third-party tool integrations
* Co-administer the institution's digital assessment platform (currently Insights for Canvas Outcomes), including user roles and permissions management, configuration and optimization for Canvas, and troubleshooting issues related to outcomes and assessment functionality
* Provide technical assistance to faculty and staff in the use of instructional technologies, both in real time and through a ticketing system
* Partner with faculty to match instructional needs with appropriate technologies, emphasizing evidence-based practices and digital accessibility
* Support the implementation and evaluation of emerging educational tools, such as AI-assisted teaching supports, media platforms, and analytics dashboards

RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively participate in group and individual supervision sessions.

Provide after hours emergency services on a 24 hour, rotating basis to adults and children. This includes telephone consultation and crisis intervention in the community.
Initiate holds, provide civil commitment investigations, and work with the hospitals, case workers and the state and other individuals/agencies for all individuals in the civil commitment process.

General Description:
Under the supervision of the Corrections Education Leadership Team, the Educational Resource Coordinator will provide exceptional and innovative strategies, mentorship, and training to faculty at Coyote Ridge Corrections Center (CRCC) and the Washington State Penitentiary (WSP) in curriculum planning, course design, and student engagement. This position will support student learning and provide training materials for students to use in the corrections education setting. This position will assist and mentor faculty in the expansion and enhancement of their skills in teaching with technology. The Educational Resource Coordinator will support faculty in developing best practices in teaching and learning, including Corrections Canvas and the DOC Off State Network (OSN) and will assist students in using this technology by conducting individual and group workshops. The Educational Resource Coordinator is responsible for supporting students and faculty for all workforce and academic education programs in the Corrections Education Program and will support, recruit, and assess students towards matriculation and completion of certificates and degrees.

JOB SUMMARY: The Seasonal Program Support Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Energy & Utilities Program during the high-demand winter season. This position provides direct client services, including intake, eligibility screening, application processing, and appointment scheduling for energy and utility assistance. The role also includes general administrative support, data entry, and coordination of services, with a strong emphasis on client interaction and support.
