Prepare, track and analyze broker commissions, including preparing weekly payroll and commission calculations
Preparation of monthly tenant billings including rents, CAM, utilities, and billbacks
Maintain schedules of accruals, amortization, depreciation, and other general ledger accounts and reconcile various accounts to the general ledger

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Minimum 1 to 3 years previous accounting experience
Knowledge of commercial real estate and experience in commercial real estate accounting processes a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills (both oral and written).
Knowledge of MRI, Nexus, Yardi and APTO a plus, but not required
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
Ability to remember information (e.g., policies, procedures) or locate resources to find information as needed.

This role includes handling accounts receivable and accounts payable, performing bank reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and utilizing strong computer skills. Candidates must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented team players who are willing to go the extra mile. Knowledge of Yardi, Excel, and Word is a plus.
This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule, with in-office work on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Marquette Management offers an outstanding benefits package.

Our corporate office is located in McCormick Ranch neighborhood of Scottsdale, AZ. You will work closely with a strong team of Managers of Community Operations and Managing Directors of Multifamily Investments, to produce accurate, and insightful information for our investors and owners.
You're Excited About This Role Because You Will:
Prepare monthly financial reports.
Reconcile Balance Sheets.
Oversee cash management and monthly bank reconciliations.
Preform Cash flow analysis/client distributions.
Handle draw preparation and review budgets for lease up properties.
Prepare monthly sales tax returns.
Audit property transactions actual to budget, coordinating with community operations regarding all on site accounting activity, for Month end close.
Review the General Ledger and Accounts Payable coding for each community.
Other duties as assigned by Manager
We're Excited to Meet You! Ideally, You Will Bring:
B.S. In Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
Preferably 2 years of property management experience working with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to report financial information.
Strong Excel skills.
Excellent communications skills both verbal and in writing.
Resman, RealPage, MRI, YARDI or other property management software proficiency is highly desirable
