Job Purpose The purpose of the Project Manager is todevelop project scopes and conceptual designs for design-build projects, ensuring constructability and feasibility. Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall project outcomes and contribute to a positive team environment. Stay informed about emerging technologies and integrate innovative solutions into design and estimation processes. Ensure that all designs and estimates comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations, maintaining high-quality and legally compliant project deliverables. Promote and incorporate sustainable design practices and solutions into projects. Coordinate with internal teams, design professionals, trade partners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Participate in project meetings, including design reviews, progress updates, and client consultations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Prepare, organize, and manage project documentation, including design plans, cost estimates, meeting minutes, and other critical records. Ensure a smooth and comprehensive handoff of the project to the Project Management team upon award, providing all necessary documentation and information. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with project designs and execution, developing strategies to mitigate these risks. Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the preconstruction phase, ensuring timely and effective solutions Develop and manage contingency plans to address unexpected changes or challenges, ensuring project continuity. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project performance, including adherence to timelines, budgets, and client satisfaction. Provide regular reports to senior management on project status, including progress, challenges, and outcomes. Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial constraints are adhered to and identifying opportunities for cost savings. Essential Functions Manage and direct multiple 3rd party design firms working towards Issued for Construction Drawings for Electrical, Civil, and Structural designs. Coordinate and lead design reviews at each design milestone. Design reviews will likely include the owner, CSI, and 3rd party personnel. Perform the overall coordination and integration of technical activities in engineering projects and services. Direct and review project designs and technology integration. Work with project managers to facilitate design understanding as the start of construction occurs. POSITION SUMMARY The Concrete Project Manager's primary responsibility is to manage, in collaboration with the Superintendent, the successful completion of assigned projects. The Concrete Project Manager is the lead for project financials, risk management, and client relations. Occasional travel is required. This position reports to the Project Executive.
