Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervises above-water and underwater bridge and ancillary design, inspection and evaluations.
Reviews, analyzes, and provides recommendations on field and/or design issues or adaptations.
Assists in proposal preparation.
Prepares and monitors project budgets.
Responsible for project schedules and timely completion of projects.
Responsible for moderately difficult engineering projects in field or office in accordance with plans and specifications.
Performs moderately difficult engineering computations and estimates in designing engineering projects.
Prepares complete engineering plans or reports.
Directs and supervises the work of entry-level engineers, technicians, drafters, and administrative staff.
Coaches field staff on the purpose and processes of inspections and inspection techniques.
Makes independent decisions within a general framework.
Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
Is active in technical societies.
Is available to attend meetings or events outside of normal working hours.
Actively observes and acts in an appropriate manner related to safety.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in civil engineering from an accredited four-year university.
A minimum of 4-5 years of bridge or ancillary structure inspection experience.
Must have passed the NHI/FHWA Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges course number: FHWA-NHI-130055.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification required..
NICET certification preferred.

Position Summary: The Field Canvassing Team Lead is responsible for hiring, training, and developing a team of Field Canvassers to build Leaf Home brand awareness in pre-selected high-probability neighborhoods.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive canvassing-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representative follow up.
Identify, schedule, and plan route calendar (including evenings and weekends) for team of Field Canvassers in assigned territory.
Manage a multi-team territory to generate customer lead generation.
Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of Field Canvassers and create accountability through established marketing goals and KPIs.
Manage permit requirements in assigned territories to ensure compliance with local ordinances and regulations.
Work closely with the Field Canvassing Manager to collaborate with the local Operations and Installation Mangers to grow brand presence within the local market.
Track and report canvassing lead generation metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of territory.
Responsible for exceeding sales lead quotas based upon established KPIs.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of management experience in field canvassing for direct-to-consumer industry.
Experience in customer service and/or sales.
Experience in lead generation, experiential marketing, and/or field canvassing.
Experience recruiting, onboarding, and training marketing, canvassing, and/or event staff.
Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for canvassing and direct to consumer field marketing.
Ability to work outside in varying climates.
Ability to work evenings and/or weekends.
Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball.”
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “win every day” mentality.
Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
Detail-oriented and can focus on task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.

Working Conditions
Work is performed in a professional, collaborative, creative, open office environment. Frequent regional and national travel is required in order to service clients, develop new business and for professional development. Our expectation is you will spend the majority of your time with existing clients, prospective clients, and strategic business partners. As is customary in the industry for professional design staff, “full-time” will exceed 2,080 hours over the course of the year.
