• Looking for an “A” body technician
• Examine damaged vehicles and works with the estimator to determine repair plan
• Ensure all needed repairs are identified to eliminate supplements and reduce cycle time
• Mirror match parts, read repair orders, follow OEM procedures and work order for all necessary operations
• Perform complete disassembly on all vehicles
• Must have experience with Car-O-Liner frame machine and electronic measuring, welders, body and frame repair
• Aluminum repair knowledge is a plus
• Attend production meetings at 8am every morning
• Must communicate well with other departments
Qualifications:
• I-CAR certifications preferred

What does a Collision Center Apprentice Technician at Hoffman Auto Group do?
Role Purpose
Under supervision of Flat-Rate Technician or Manager, repair vehicles in an efficient, ethical manner with customer satisfaction as first priority. Perform work assigned by the Body Shop Manager, using materials and supplies economically. Perform work efficiently and with quality in mind.
Core Accountabilities
- Strip and sand finishes off vehicles; tape vehicles for painting.
- Prime and paint when required.
- Perform body work in limited capacity. Buff vehicles when needed.
- Handle materials such as cleaning fluid, thinner, paint, sandpaper, and tape in a safe efficient manner.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and OSHA regulations that pertain to your job and have been instructed to you through “Right to Know” and safety training at your store. Perform DAILY inspections of your work area. At no time is it permissible to use or store a secondary container containing ANY substance without a proper Hazard Warning label adhered to the bottle.
- Document work orders, time sheets, inspection sheets or other pertinent forms per company, state, and manufacturer or federal regulations/procedures.
- Must be able to lift at least (50) pounds, bend, reach overhead, and squat and stoop.
- Maintain a clean and neat work area.
- Follow all policies and procedures as designated by the Hoffman Auto Group Privacy Act Policy
Competencies and Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service orientated environment preferred
