Our outpatient ambulatory surgery center in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a full-time CRNA to join our team. This position offers exceptional lifestyle balance with complete schedule predictability. The CRNA will work 4.5 days per week with dedicated administrative time and will have full control over their daily schedule. This is a true no-call, no-nights, no-weekends, no-holidays role with a maximum of 40 hours per week.
Case Mix:
90% colonoscopies
10% minor anorectal surgeries
No upper endoscopies (no EGDs)
Highly predictable, low-acuity cases in a well-organized ASC environment
Compensation:
$250,000 annual salary
$20,000 sign-on bonus

Overview
Responsible for contributing to in-depth investigations for suspected fraud or abuse with respect to provider, pharmacy, employer, member, and broker interactions involving the full range of products at Sentara Health Plans. Responsible for contributing to the review of the quality of pharmacy, physician, ancillary and hospital based coding in routine desk audits as well as occasional on-site audits. Contribute to the review of reimbursement systems relating to health insurance claims processing and ensures adherence to Optima Health policies and procedures for its various product offerings. Specific progression of responsibility is a follows dependent upon education, certifications, and experience:
Conducts investigation-related training.
Negotiates settlement agreements to resolve disputes.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and standards.
Updates department policies and procedures and assists in training staff on changes.
Prepares routine department reporting as needed.
Education
Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED; Degree in a related field of study preferred.
Certification/Licensure
Certified Professional Coder REQUIRED (or achieved within 12 months of hire date)

All hospital related interactions are courteous and confidential and in accordance with HIPAA regulations. LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Pediatric Echocardiography by The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required or registry eligible and obtainment of registration within 12 months of employment.
RDCS (PE) certification by the ARDMS is highly preferred.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Adult Echocardiography by The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) registry eligible and obtainment of registration within 90 days of hire.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Completion of an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound program (Bachelors or Associates Degree). In lieu of degree, will consider high school diploma or equivalent with applicable experience.
