This training is done through self-development, structured training, and on the job training. * Perform all daily security related functions, which include: * Conduct security screenings and bag inspections for Guardians teammates, visitors, contractors, media and other individuals arriving at Progressive Field. * Perform and support regularly scheduled security rounds and facility checks across all areas of the ballpark and grounds at any time of day. * Report and document any incidents, accidents, alarms, maintenance issues, intrusions, or any other occurrence that should be brought to the attention of ballpark management. * Maintain accurate logs, monitor contractor activities, supervise deliveries, and interacting responsibly with diverse entities conducting business at Progressive Field. * Develop proficiency to successfully utilize security systems, including video surveillance, access control, metal detection, radio communications, incident management software, and other related technologies. * Execute emergency response procedures in accordance with company security policy and procedure. * Demonstrate the ability and willingness to work a variety of different posts with ranging responsibilities. * Support and engage in the Guardians culture of learning, proactively willing to learn, adapt and understand directions. * Monitor and direct traffic and parking in our underground service area. * Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
