As a CCI in Elder Abuse, you will: * Initiate case reports as needed. * Case review and triage of incoming calls from facilities, other institutions, and Cyber tips regarding crimes including elder abuse. Assess police response and identify services needed. Assess whether criminal case reports regarding abuse/exploitation will be initiated and completes case summary reports and case report supplements when applicable. * Handle the Special Victim Services email inbox and obtain call screens and then provide necessary information to the appropriate facilities or community partners, such as APS. * Vet calls for APS and initiate case reports if needed. * Document and follow up on potential investigative leads and communicate accurate and timely case status details with APS as needed. APS case details will be updated as new information becomes available in effort to support ongoing investigations (Criminal and/or APS). * Submit evidence to be processed to Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) Metro Crime Lab or Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for DNA analysis or other probative value. * Document and submit reports of the findings of assigned investigations in a thorough and timely manner. * Conduct field work, including victim and witness interviews, interrogations (a sworn officer must be present during a suspect interrogation), processing crime scenes, writing search warrants and court orders, obtaining medical records, obtaining and reviewing 911 and jail recordings, and other investigative tasks as needed. * Prepare and file cases with the District Attorney's office. * Testify in court when necessary. * Track relevant data, including court disposition of cases; provide analysis as requested to community and agency partners. * Maintain statistical data used for reporting purposes and draft program performance reports. * Work with victim support services, CSPD's Victim Advocacy Unit (VAU) and other community/partner agencies as appropriate. * Acquire and maintain knowledge necessary for Adult Protective Services (APS) casework through required training sessions. This includes gaining CAPS access and the ability to upload case reports as time permits. * Contact facilities and/or health care systems and provide training presentations or informational presentations as needed. * Participate in RED Team meetings as needed to maintain understanding of APS casework and case screening criteria. * Ensure compliance with all mandatory reporting requirements by successfully completing designated training programs. Duties & Responsibilities: Strength & Conditioning Provide top-level performance services to assist athletes training at USA Boxing at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs Assist in the implementation and supervision of strength, speed, and conditioning programs of elite athletes training at the CSOPTC. Assist and lead when necessary, in conducting performance testing and monitoring of athletes that may include collection, analysis, and interpretation of results.
