* Perform risk analysis, trade studies, process improvement analysis, cost estimates, as applicable.
* Tracking to completion tasking and assignments for the team, assisting with workload balancing across team members, collecting metrics, and performing other project management functions for the team as applicable.
* Ensure team members have the required tools and access to perform their responsibilities.
* Collaborate with other engineering assignment managers/leads to align priorities and support overall execution of program objectives.

Job Description:
Our test team is searching for new members that can help us conduct command and control testing on missile warning and space defense systems. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment, learning new mission areas, this is the place for you.
This position provides support to the Eglin AFB, FL based 45th Test Squadron Space and Intelligence Command and Control Flight. The work location is at Peterson SFB, CO. The Test Team conducts Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) on Air Force and Space Force systems to ensure they perform as required and make recommendations on corrective actions. The successful candidate will have opportunities to lead test programs and exercise project management while working directly with experienced team members with many years of DT&E experience. We provide many opportunities to learn ranging from on-the-job training with other team members to formal courses for unique technology areas. If you have a software test engineering background and want to learn more about Air Force and Space Force Command and Control systems, this is the job for you. This position requires in-person office work. Tests can range in length from days to weeks. Testing schedule is typically 1-2 weeks per month but varies. This support includes the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and frequently serves as the technical authority for Combatant Commanders Integrated Command and Control System (CCIC2S) Missile Warning, Missile Warning Missile Track (MWMT), Space Directed Energy Confliction (DECON), and other Space Command and Control (C2) systems, encompassing the Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR), Cobra Dane, PARCS, among others.
Conduct data analysis and apply knowledge of engineering technology under the direction of engineering staff. These tasks include test and evaluation, test support, logistics, sustainment, operations analyses, technical studies, and various analyses and support activities including program/system security.
Assist in the development of system requirements, performance measures, test phase entry/exit criteria, and analysis of design constraints functional capabilities, and metrics.
Support DT&E, Risk Reduction Testing (RRT) and certification for test readiness; identify deficiencies, verify compliance with specifications and standards, and assess stability of various system configurations.
Support senior engineers when interacting with System Program Offices, other services, and development contractors.
Prepare, execute, review, and analyze test plans, procedures, metrics, and reports throughout the software development life cycle. Develop and write methods of tests, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), test cases, test objectives/procedures, test directives, technical or letter reports, analysis and review of requirements, and other test process documents as required in the conduct of testing.
Coordinate schedules, pre-and post-test activities, logistics of test planning, and test results.
Travel up to 20% of time to contractors' facilities, test sites, and other locations (OCONUS and CONUS).
