Pros of working at Columbia Gas of Ohio

The pay is great. OT is always available if you want it.

Cons of working at Columbia Gas of Ohio

The work atmosphere is cut throat. Management is always looking at ways to fire someone. Nepotism is the way of the company. Management gives promotions bases on the "click". Brothers, sisters, wives, bro in law, father, sons are who work here and they don't want that to change. Be prepared to have an exhausting career if you aren't on of "them". Also they like to use words like, force list and you have to stay and work.

Columbia Gas of Ohio benefits

Only the pay and benefits. The work itself is cool but the management and work atmosphere sucks!

What do you like best about Columbia Gas of Ohio's CEO and the leadership team?

He is all about money. He came from Duke energy. He is very unaware of what goes on in the field. He is trying to get his bonuses and that about it. He hired a firm to crunch the numbers and turn everything into percentages and graphs.

How would you improve Columbia Gas of Ohio's culture?

Stop nepotism! Stop hiring family!

How did you prepare for the Columbia Gas of Ohio interview?

The STAR interview process is brutal. It's basically used to weed out the people they don't want to hire. They overlook the interview process for family and friends.

What brings you the most joy at Columbia Gas of Ohio?

The pay and benefits. Don't admit you like certain processes or management will find a way to ruin it.
