Essential Functions * Assist in pulling instruments and supplies for surgical procedures. Set up equipment for surgical procedure. * Order and restock inventory and supplies for department. Stock and put supplies away in individual operating rooms. * Clean, disinfect, and sterilize equipment. Assists with clean-up and room turnover. * Provide assistance with moving and lifting patients. Transport patients. * Transport specimens to appropriate area/unit. * Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education * High School Diploma Preferred: or equivalent Experience * Preferred: Previous experience with sterile/aseptic techniques * Required: Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs Credentials * Required: Certified Nurse Assistant - Oregon * Required: Upon Hire Basic Life Support Department / Location Specific Notes Oregon West Network: * Six months of patient care experience required. * Medical Assistant certification preferred. * CNA I required at time of hire Skills * Well organized, detail oriented and self motivated.
