Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required Valid Mississippi Driver's License with satisfactory driving record (no moving violations within 3 years) Must be able to obtain Class D license within 30 days of hire Must maintain auto liability limits of 100,000/300,000/50,000 Will pass CPR, MANDT, and other required testing Experience working with the IDD population preferred Experience assisting others with ADLs preferred Responsibilities: Act as models for appropriate behavior. May provide transportation to and from facilities and to and from activities in the community. Performs other work-oriented tasks as assigned by supervisor. Responsible for training participants in skills and conduct daily activities, training, and documentation for IDD day programs. Will eat lunch on site with participants and take breaks on site. Will help individuals learn skills for daily living appropriate to a home environment and will use pragmatic training techniques to develop these skills.
