Cons of working at Columbia Southern University
It is the Walmart of colleges. Large student loads. If student complains about a professor the professor is automatically in trouble. I had 190 students at the time I quit. Set up for failure after 16 years. Managment does not care and will not listen. Once they got accreditation it became all about how they can make money. It is on the backs of the working professors. You have to ride an impossible line of making it look like they have high academic standards while keeping the students happy so they will keep spending money. Give a student a high grade and if they review your work and disagree you are in trouble. Take points off a students work if they complain the professor is in trouble. The family is once again out of touch with the management of this school. I have seen this over the years. They hire the wrong people in management and fail to monitor them.
