Sign on bonus of $1,500! $200 at 3 months, $300 at 6 months, $500 at 12 months; and $500 at 18 months Eligible for quarterly bonuses (if no CDL at hire, the bonus clock starts with CDL date) Route Driver The route will start in the early morning hours approximately 5am and end mid to late afternoon. The end time varies by day as some days are bigger order days than others, and most drivers average of 48-55 hours per week. Route drivers start the morning picking up the packed trailer and follow the delivery route given. At each stop, there will be some building of the loads to take in to the customer which requires attention to detail in reading and scanning delivery tickets, working with the customer on where to place their products, getting required signatures, and developing relationships with these repeat customers. Due to long routes, will typically work 4 days per week which should average about 45 hours per week with occasional 5 days per weeks to cover routes as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience: * Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at. * Share the benefits of the DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse) Loyalty program and enroll new members. * Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through either in-store sales or digital orders. Be committed to the customer having a consistent positive experience: * We own the physical shopping environment therefore the role includes maintaining a neat, clean, and safe environment for our internal and external customers. * This includes but is not limited to the following: clearing trash from the aisles, cash wrap, and stockroom, returning shoes back to their location according to DSW standards, cleaning the associate breakroom and public restrooms, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors and front walkways along with any other housekeeping items deemed necessary. * Receive inbound freight, prepare, and place merchandise on the sales floor per DSW standards, complete markdowns, maintain clearance standards, and organize and maintain the stockroom. Bring the power of shoes to life by leveraging in-store and digital services: * Complete all functions of the fulfillment process including locating items, inspecting condition of product, packaging and label placement ensuring readiness for pick up/delivery. * Use of company tools to search product availability to order for the customer ie. iPhone, Register. * Perform other duties as assigned by the management team. Be responsible to pause and the put the customer first: * Complete customer transactions while following DSW-s policies and procedures. * Responsible for accuracy in counting money and providing correct change. * Operate a calculator and enter data via the register keyboard. * Partner with the Customer Experience Leader (CEL) when customer situations and service issues escalate. * Follow all asset protection policies and procedures. This is two, 2-day routes that will require an overnight stay; will be put up for the night and receive $40 per diem for each overnight stay. Will have fewer delivery stops, but be heavier loads. Route drivers start the morning picking up the loaded trailer and follow the delivery route given. At each stop, there will be some building of the loads to take in to the customer which requires attention to detail in reading and scanning delivery tickets, working with the customer on where to place their products, getting required signatures, and developing relationships with these repeat customers. Regional OTR CDL Drivers (4-6 days out) Kearney based no-touch CDL position that will generally be out 4-6 days, possibly 10 days. Back 1-2 days, and repeat. Runs will generally include three or more stops from the time it leaves Lincoln to the time it returns. Drivers will have a sleeper cab that is governed at 70 mpg and are paid by the mile, $.63, with an average of 2k - 3k miles per week, plus will be eligible for Detention and Layover pay. Will receive a per diem of $40 per overnight stay (taxable) and be eligible for paid time off and holiday pay at the rate of 8 hours per day using the average gross pay of the prior two pay periods. Early Morning Key Account Route (Mon/Tues/Thurs/Sat) (Pays $1.50/hr differential) These routes start at 12am and average 9-10 hours per day delivering to large accounts. Route drivers start the morning picking up the loaded trailer and follow the delivery route given. Lincoln Shuttle (requires doubles) This position typically will haul two empty trailers from Lincoln to Kearney, pick up 2 full trailers, and bring back to Lincoln two times per night, but may shuttle to other locations. Typically runs from 6pm 4am on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; and on Sunday can start as early as 4pm. Day Backhaul Route Leave from our facility in Lincoln at 4am and drive an empty single trailer to a remote location to pick up product to deliver back to the Lincoln facility. Depending on the through-put for that facility, you may wait 30 minutes to 3 hours before your trailer is loaded and returned. This is an hourly position and you will be on the clock from the time you leave Lincoln to the time you return.
