We are seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager to support mission-critical programs in a fast-paced Government Contracting (GovCon) environment. This role requires a proven leader with strong program management and communication skills, deep understanding of federal contracting, and the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Program Manager in overseeing all aspects of program execution, including planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
Manage day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with contract requirements and customer expectations.
Support contract and subcontract administration, including negotiation, execution, and compliance.
Support staffing plans, recruitment coordination, and workforce management to meet program objectives.
Monitor program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Prepare and deliver status reports, briefings, and presentations to internal leadership and government customers.
Ensure adherence to corporate policies, security requirements, and quality standards.
Identify and mitigate risks, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
Lead subcontracts associated with the mission focused team (MFT).
Prepare program status reviews and other formal reviews to be presented to the Government.
Review all financial and technical reports before being released to the Government.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams.
Prior experience with classified programs and secure facilities.
Have experience and understanding of customer's RMF and associated systems.
Required Qualifications:
Must have a PMP, FAC-P/PM Senior Level, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certification in Program Management.
Shall be knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD 5000 series, and ICD 801 policies.
8+ years of relevant experience in program or project management. Demonstrated experience supporting Government Contracting (GovCon) programs.
Strong background in contracts, subcontracts, staffing, and finance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
