Position Summary
The Ethics Team at the Center for Precision Medicine and Genomics (CPMG) seeks a highly motivated Bioethics Research Coordinator to support NIH-funded, community-engaged studies focused on the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genetics. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge bioethics research in a collaborative academic environment.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
* Conduct comprehensive literature reviews relevant to study aims
* Manage, clean, and analyze data using qualitative and/or quantitative research software

Minimum Qualifications

Position Summary
Reporting to the Director and Deputy Director of the Program in Climate Science, Awareness and Solutions, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting wide ranging functions for the research program in Climate Science, Awareness and Solutions at the Climate School. The incumbent will work closely with Director and Deputy Director of the Program, but also with the research scientists in supporting and possibly growing the program. The incumbent will provide comprehensive administrative support to the center, particularly in the areas of finance, procurement, human resources and event planning. Responsibilities will include participation in grant proposal and budget preparation, website support, and coordination and logistics planning for events, meetings, seminars, workshops and conferences. Additional responsibilities will include processing purchasing requests and requisitions; and assisting in travel arrangements for program staff, affiliates, and visiting faculty and fellows. ProgramCoordinator will assist with the grant management for sponsored projects, assist in the editing and submission of papers, articles, and reports. They will also assist with budget creation and monitoring for the program. The incumbent will assist in scheduling and overseeing meetings of the staff.
The ProgramCoordinator will support the fundraising capacity for the program. They will work closely with the Director of the Program in developing and submitting grant proposals to establish a funding base for the new program. A significant activity will be keeping funders informed of the group's publications and other progress.
Responsibilities
Administrative and Programmatic Support:
* The incumbent will provide comprehensive administrative support to the program, particularly in the areas of finance, procurement, human resources. Work with the research team to track expenses and budgets.
* Complete and track travel expense forms. When appropriate use university systems (DARTS, FFE and AP/CAR) to enter expenses directly.
* Take primary responsibility for keeping appropriate and accurate financial records. Processes invoices, check requests, wire transfers, travel and business expense reimbursements (TBER's), travel advances in the ARC system. They will be responsible for purchases such as computers, copying equipment, phones, including supplies, maintenance, and replacements and the necessary record keeping.
* Support programming including public outreach events, conferences, workshops, and guest speakers in addition to organizing meetings and lectures for the program; travel arrangements for staff and visitors.
Research Support:
* Provide technical support to Program scientists including the Director and Deputy Director in their research, data management, and publications.
* Assist in the editing and submission of papers, articles and reports.
* A special focus of the Program is to make research results and data available to the public. Thus, an important activity will be website development and use of social media to inform the public about the Program's accomplishments and conclusions.
Fundraising and Grant Management:
* Assist Program Director in proposal preparation and communications with funders, periodic communications as papers are published or significant accomplishments are completed and periodic summaries of activities.
* Ensure awards are received and implemented appropriately. Monitor and coordinate grants, ensure deadlines are adhered to.

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent related experience required and 2 - 4 years related experience.
* Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills necessary.
* Must be able to function independently and to exercise discretion and judgment in sensitive matters.

The Division of General Medicine/Associates in Internal Medicine (AIM) Practice seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented ProgramCoordinator to provide comprehensive administrative support onsite at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Reporting jointly to the Divisional Administrator and the Associate Program Director (APD) for ambulatory education, this role supports internal medicine residents, ambulatory faculty leaders, and the broader Division of General Medicine.

As a member of the Division's core administrative team, the ProgramCoordinator collaborates with colleagues in People & Culture, IT, and Procurement to support division-wide initiatives such as events, communications, and compliance activities.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate complex schedules for 144 internal medicine residents, including ambulatory clinic assignments and didactic sessions, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with program leadership, clinic staff, and faculty preceptors.
* Create, distribute, and compile faculty and didactic evaluations for ambulatory residency education.
* Organize and manage weekly Division conferences, including speaker coordination and facilitation of Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements.
* Maintain calendars for the APD and Medical Director; schedule meetings, support working groups, and assist with social events.
* Serve as the primary liaison between the divisional administrative team and AIM faculty.
* Support recruitment activities, including preparing interview itineraries and escorting candidates during visits.
* Oversee AIM administrative office operations, including responding to inquiries, submitting facilities requests, and managing office supplies.
* Administer the AIM faculty moonlighting program, including scheduling and processing monthly payroll submissions.

The TechMPower (TMP) project is looking for a ProgramCoordinator to support a 4-year, NIDA-funded innovative study that aims to prevent and treat HIV and overdose in criminal justice settings through the implementation of a comprehensive bundle of evidence-based strategies that will enhance the effective delivery of interventions for both HIV and substance use disorder (SUD). Under the direction of and reporting to the Project Director, the ProgramCoordinators will support the implementation of milestones and tasks to ensure TMP research and administrative needs are met in 6 county sites in New York and New Jersey. In addition, they will be central to community engagement and data collection protocols within jail sites and community partners, working closely with the PD and MPIs as required by the study.
We are seeking to hire two people who will coordinate the study in three regional areas within New York State and New Jersey.

The Educator serves as a member of the Family Development Team to deliver programming on the impact of excessive screen time on children's mental and behavioral health. The Educator will deliver programming to youth and young adults on the impact of screen time and will provide strategies for building healthier habits. The individual will also offer parents and caregivers education to equip families with tools to foster healthier boundaries and guide children toward safe, balanced technology use, while providing educators with training to identify and address screen-related challenges in the classroom. Programming will be delivered to youth, adolescents, parents, caregivers, educators, and the community in a variety of settings, including classrooms & family engagement nights. This position will provide data entry of participant data requiring confidentiality. The Educator will provide information to participants regarding other Extension programs, community agencies, and services as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree and 2 years of transferable experience.
At least one year of related experience.
Ability to function as a team member working with co-workers, community, and professional leaders.
Demonstrated ability to plan, teach, and evaluate educational programs through a variety of delivery methods to reach individuals and groups.
Ability to plan and organize personal work responsibilities according to priorities developed with the immediate supervisor.
Demonstrated ability to relate to various audiences.
Ability to communicate effectively through oral, written, and visual means.
Ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.
Ability to meet acceptable background check standards.
Ability to work flexible hours, which may include evenings and/or weekends, as appropriate.
Proficiency or ability to learn and effectively use software including use of the internet and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master's Degree in Elementary Education or Special Education.

Position Details:
Expected Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Hourly Wage: $23.00 per hour
Location: Oneida County CCE office in Oriskany, NY . No remote work available.

Program Responsibilities:
Program Delivery - 75%
Utilize existing program materials and educational framework to provide education deliver quality, research-based education.
Foster acceptance of programs, methods, and policies to address community and individual needs.
Deliver and teach innovative educational programs.
Interact with program participants for effective program delivery.
Create lesson plans to deliver educational programs for various audiences.
Provide research-based materials and resources to program participants, staff and other groups as they are identified.
Serve as a subject-matter resource in youth and adolescent development.
Interact effectively with program participants to provide educational resources that meet their specific needs.
Meet or exceed targeted delivery goals assigned by supervisor as indicated by the funding source.
Inform parents, caregivers, educators and community members of other Extension programs, community agencies, and services.
CCE to the public, community leaders, government officials and Cornell University in a professional manner as part of program delivery.
Program Evaluation - 5%
Interact with program participants and clientele to collect evaluation data for improving programs and services.
Implement program evaluation as designed.
Assist in analyzing collected program evaluation data for program improvement purposes.
May assist in Family Development team efforts to design or analyze program evaluation for recommending improvements.
Communicate evaluation findings to constituents as appropriate.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Direction - 5%
Provide input in planning the structure of delivering educational programs via various methods.
Assist in the planning of Family Development programs and events.
Assist supervisor in initiating effective professional relationships with other agencies and organizations that promote effective communication to facilitate continued programming efforts.
Management - 5%
Assist with identifying and recommending program needs (i.e. program supplies and materials).
Provide programmatic guidance to volunteers and co-workers, including those performing similar work.
Solve problems and resolve conflicts that arise within educational programs utilizing appropriate policies and procedures.
Coordination/Operation - 5%
Maintain record of program participants, complete monthly reports, and accurately prepare paperwork in a timely manner as required for the program.
Provide moderately complex routine tasks to support the delivery of educational program goals.
Provide information as requested to assist with preparation of reports, success stories on program progress and accomplishments for funders, advisory committee, Board and others as necessary
Complete all data entry in local data system and state data system as well as end of the month paperwork and quarterly reports as part of funder reporting requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of all information and data collected, accessed and/or maintained.
Professional Improvement & Other Duties as Assigned - 5%
In cooperation with supervisor and/or Executive Director, jointly develop and pursue a professional development plan as a means to increase competencies relative to position accountabilities and to address changes and Association priorities.
Participate in all required orientation, training, and/or in-service meetings and trainings as scheduled/required.
Pursue personal growth through expanding personal knowledge of the total organization and through updating techniques and technical skills relating to the position.
Collaborate in activities that are in general support of Cornell Cooperative Extension including but not limited to attendance at staff meetings, timely reporting of expenses, working with other staff, general marketing of Cooperative Extension programs and other duties as assigned.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.

Be familiar with and strive to follow any applicable federal, state, local regulations, Association health and safety policy/procedure/requirement and standard.
