Physical Demands:
The quality lab tech pulls finished products from the line to ensure the quality of the product and its containers.
There is a cart that is pushed from the QA lab out to the lines. This cart requires 12 pounds to push at its heaviest. The product is placed on the top shelf of this cart, which is at 33 inches off the ground. Some of the product pulled will be put into a tub on another cart that is also 33 inches off the ground. These will eventually be put into an incubator room to check for bacteria growth. Others will be used to check the actual product or packaging of the product.
The products to be put into the incubation room are rolled on the cart as far as 160 feet. The cart requires 17 pounds of force to push when it is full. There are two tubs on the cart with 16 individual boxes of product in each tub. The heaviest the tub can be is 46 pounds. They have to be lifted from the 33-inch high cart to as high as 76 inches off the ground. They may have to lower down to 6.5 inches.
In some scenarios, the tubs would have to be carried a maximum of approximately 20 feet. The tub movements into or out of the incubation rooms occur approximately every 60 minutes. The incubation room is kept at 95 Degrees F.
Tubs are taken away from the incubation room the same as they are brought in.

Participation in and utilization of strengths based planning and treatments which include assisting the client and family members or other collaterals with identifying strengths and needs, resources, natural supports and developing goals and objectives to utilize personal strengths, resources, and natural supports to address functional deficits associated with their mental illness.
D. Assist the client with effectively responding to or avoiding identified precursors or triggers that would risk their remaining in a natural community location, including assisting the client and family members or other collaterals with identifying a potential psychiatric or personal crisis, developing a crisis management plan and/or as appropriate, seeking other supports to restore stability and functioning.
Targeted Case Management (TCM) Definition: Targeted Case Management is designed to provide medically necessary services, under a treatment plan approved by the psychiatrist or physician skilled in the treatment of mental disorders and to assist Medicaid beneficiaries in resolving or minimizing the effects of the mental and emotional impairment for which clinical and/or hospital services have previously been provided. The goal is to enhance independent functioning through which the consumer is integrated into and/or maintained within the community, so that institutionalization is not as likely or frequent. This goal-directed medically necessary service is for adults with severe and persistent mental illness or children with severe emotional disturbance through which the individual is assisted in obtaining access to needed medical, social, educational and other services. Knowledge and Experience:
Essential:
Basic computer skills on IBM compatible P.C. systems and software.
Basic operation skill of general office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes and phone systems.

Ability to meet and deal tactfully with the general public and to communicate effectively and clearly both orally and in writing.

Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood or field related degree with Early Childhood Emphasis preferred, State certification in Early Childhood, or CDA credential or obtain CDA after six months of employment.
Have or be willing to obtain Home Visitation Training within the first year of employment.
Obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days
Successfully complete a physical exam and TB skin test before beginning employment and every three years thereafter, with the exception of a diagnosed medical condition requiring annual exams.
Submit to and pass standard criminal history check and Child Abuse and Neglect check.
Submit to and pass standard drug screening test.
Possess current, valid driver's license and meet agency insurance underwriting guidelines.
Be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before beginning employment.
