We are currently hiring a Forklift Operator with mid-level computer skills to support our warehouse operations during the seed delivery and return season. In this role, you will safely and efficiently handle materials and seed products, assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and help ensure timely, quality deliveries to meet customer expectations.
This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, computer accuracy and a strong safety mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklift in a professional, safe and accident-free manner
Complete and maintain daily forklift inspection records
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of forklift equipment
Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track goods and ensure accurate data entry
Keep the warehouse clean and organized
Assist with loading and unloading of transport vehicles during seed delivery/return season
Accurately move and stack products, equipment and materials
Assist with sampling, inventory tasks and general labor as directed by supervisor or team lead
Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Mid-level computer knowledge (data entry, basic inventory software, or WMS experience)
Previous forklift operation experience required; certification preferred or will be provided
Ability to lift, push, pull and move materials as needed
Must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts and maintaining stamina during long days

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions

Major Duties and Responsibilities

This includes the completion and/or directing/delegating the completion of the activities component of the comprehensive assessment; and contributing to and/or directing/delegating the contribution to the comprehensive care plan goals and approaches that are individualized to match the skills, abilities, and interests/preferences of each resident in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
Directing the activity program includes scheduling of activities, both individual and groups, implementing and/or delegating the implementation of recreational, educational, cultural and arts and crafts programs, monitoring the response, reviewing and evaluating the response to the programs to determine if the activities meet the assessed needs of the resident, and making revisions as necessary. The Director ensures that scheduled program activities are carried out seven days per week. The Director will ensure each resident is offered at least one (1) cognitive activity, two (2) recreational activities and three (3) ADL activities daily. Activities are to be tailored to the resident's unique requirements and skills. At least one individual activity is planned for residents who are unable or unwilling to participate in group activities daily. Oversees the transportation of residents to social activities programs inside and outside the facility.
The Activities Director is responsible for the assurance of resident safety during activities and items that are safety hazards are strictly controlled. Harmful items will be monitored closely during resident use and put away immediately after each use. Activity cabinets and closets are locked at all times when not in immediate use.
The Activities Director is responsible for overseeing the establishment of a Resident Council and responsible for its smooth operation and documentation such as meeting minutes and concerns expressed during the Council meetings.
The Activities Director is required to perform a variety of administrative functions pertaining to departmental operations, such as but not limited to, assisting with the orientation of newly hired staff; development of departmental policies and procedures; delegation of work assignments of staff; completion of employee performance evaluations and the development of formal and informal staff educational in-service programs to ensure the highest level of quality care possible is provided to residents.
The Director also oversees the facility's volunteer program to include monitoring the activities of volunteer staff members to ensure that the rights of residents are respected. Occasionally supervise student practices in Leisure Studies and related educational areas.
The Activities Director monitors the schedule and services provided by the Beauty Shop Operators.

Participates in all life safety and emergency drills and trainings. Fulfills responsibilities as assigned during implementation or activation of the facility's emergency plan.
Reports work-related injuries and illnesses immediately to supervisor.
Follows established infection control policies and procedures.

Prepares a monthly calendar of activities written in large print and posted in a prominent location that is visible to residents and visitors.

· The RS may, at times, prepare/serve meals and supervise cleanup/sanitation of the dining/kitchen as directed. This includes supervision of chemicals and/or food safety policies and procedures. Transport/schedule clients to on-going appointments and meetings while in treatment. The RS will assist as needed with the care of the clients while teaching them Activities Daily Living Skills.
· The RS conducts regular/situational room/chore checks/searches with access of the facility. The RS may perform searches on the clients and have them perform drug screens.
· For the overnight shift, The RS must understand the Nebraska Medicaid Eligibility System (NMES) to determine clients Medicaid eligibility.
· The RS must understand the Credible Electronic Health Record system. This includes the following: Intakes, Referrals, EMAR, Service List, Documentation (Scanning), “Home Page Links”, “Inpatient” tab, and/or other sections as directed by supervision. The RS will handle shift notes daily while achieving the agency's mission on client care. This includes observations of the clients and/or any other documentation that is related to the client's mental health and substance use disorders.
· The RS can provide suggested interventions for inappropriate/unacceptable behaviors by helping residents identify what s/he needs and new ways of handling the situation and/or to the behavior with a follow up to the client's therapist. This includes de-escalation techniques, trauma informed care, and/or other behavioral health courses as directed by the Clinical Director and/or designee.
· The RS is responsible for supervising community meetings, whether in-house or outside meetings.
· The Recovery Specialist identifies/documents changes in clients affect and behavior by completing shift notes in the E.H.R system, and notifies other staff as needed.
· Following training, the RS will complete new patient admissions/discharges and proper documentation of medication. The RS will observe and record client's self-administration of medication.

· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· Successful completion of background checks/references including a valid driver's license. The driving record must be in accordance with the agency's guidelines.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess strong mechanical aptitude and electrical/electronic skills.
Experience in metal manufacturing environment preferred
3 years of experience working on automated equipment or minimum of 2 years schooling in Electromechanical field required
2 years CNC experience preferred
Must have experience with controls
Knowledge of repairing and replacing temperature controls preferred
Knowledge of PID loops and controls
Knowledge of general plumbing
Able to be forklift operator certified
Knowledge of Basic Microsoft office tools
Good communication (verbal and written) skills and excellent listening ability required
Express a positive attitude, problem solver and strong team collaboration.
US Citizenship or lawful permanent resident of the US is required.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand for extend periods of time
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the office, shop, warehouse, or manufacturing plant
Must be able to lift to 50 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working
with use of mechanical aids manipulate parts or machines exceeding 20,000 pounds.
Must be able to simultaneously manage several objectives, changing priorities and reassign priorities to complete assignments.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work environment is typically considered within a MIBA AG location during normal or extended business hours to include offices, manufacturing plants and repair facilities. Work environment may also include customer sites including oil well sites, and meeting venues.
Approved PPE is required when on the factory floor
