Job DescriptionCaregiver needed immediately for shifts 7 days a week from 8am to 12pm, providing care in a senior living community on Lower Queen Anne near the Seattle Center. Care is for a female client who is recovering from a stroke. Care is primarily assistance around her apartment and also helping to ensure safety. She uses a walker and is somewhat prone to dizziness and weakness, so staying close by is key. She is actively participating in occupational therapy so assisting with and encouraging her in these activities are key. Pay range is $26 to $28 per hour. Care typically is oriented to lower acuity clients, whose needs will range from companionship, running errands, household assistance and other tasks. Some clients will need personal care as well. The ideal candidate will be engaging, flexible, and genuinely enjoy working with the elderly. Reliable personal transportation is huge plus, especially if interested in working multiple shifts!!
