The ORLTSR is a therapeutic residential program that works with justice involved individuals, ages 18 and over. The individuals in the program have a diagnosis of serious mental illness and have been prosecuted on criminal charges. The program will provide mental health treatment to those who will be admitted on Conditional Release or those in need of competency restoration.

The Mental Health Technician works from a recovery framework within the team providing individual supportive counseling and psychoeducational groups using therapeutic interventions (evidenced based practices preferred), cultural competence and trauma informed care to help individuals obtain their recovery goals. Our Mental Health Technicians provides counseling to individual clients, implements and monitors treatment of clients, and monitors individual and group social skills.
The Mental Health Technician will provide direct services to residents, including assistance with personal hygiene and ADL's, as well as assistance with all tasks necessary for maintaining a therapeutic community and residence.
Conducting activities with residents, including educational, social and leisure programs. Inclusion of resident's input and suggestions in the planning process involved for all activities.
The Mental Health Technician is responsible for documentation in clinical charts and residential logs as required, including progress notes on assigned residents. Immediate reporting of all resident crisis and/or unusual incidents to Shift Supervisor.
Participation in meetings and training sessions as assigned, including but not limited to Quality Improvement Program, and multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings.

Required to sit; stand, maintain balance; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception & ability to adjust optical focus for reading, driving, general observation and for all safety needs.

COMHAR's Long Term Structured Residences (LTSR) are located in Northampton County. This position is located in Walnutport, PA. These therapeutic programs are designed to provide 24/7 residential and intensive treatment supports for adults with a variety of psychiatric and health related needs. Individuals requiring this level of care have access to a variety of services including individual and group therapies, psychiatric evaluation, crisis intervention, peer support, psychiatric rehabilitation and medication management. The multidisciplinary treatment team is comprised of staff that includes a psychiatrist, mental health professionals, licensed nurses, peer specialists, and direct care staff. Services are delivered both on-site and in natural community settings to maximize learning opportunities. Our focus is to assist individuals in developing skills, increasing their independence and stabilizing their psychiatric and physical health symptoms with the goal of moving into lesser structured settings.

Description of Services The Behavioral Health Worker will be responsible for implementing mental health treatment and crisis intervention for children and families through the Clinical Home model. This position also includes providing psycho-educational groups for youth and/or families, intensive case management service to children and families, and supporting clients with one-on-one interventions in the school, home, and community to support the overall mental health goals of the child's treatment plan. 3. Collect and update data related to client's record.

6. Attend and actively participate in weekly group supervision.

The Behavior Health Technician performs clinical work with a high degree of autonomy within this Intermediate Care Facility providing comprehensive habilitation services to persons with a primary diagnosis of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Provides and supports client care delivery in accordance with established practice standards and facility/departmental/regulatory/payor policies and procedures for clinical setting and populations served.

Prompt interventions in the areas of behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on the treatment plan goals provided by a Behavior Consultant or Mobile Therapist.
Collect daily data and document progress notes in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent.

We are seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Mental Health Technician to join our Intensive Behavioral Health Services program in Philadelphia, PA. The Mental Health Technician works from a recovery framework within the team providing individual supportive counseling and psychoeducational groups using therapeutic interventions (evidenced based practices preferred), cultural competence and trauma informed care to help individuals obtain their recovery goals. Our Mental Health Technicians provides counseling to individual clients, implements and monitors treatment of clients, and monitors individual and group social skills.
The Mental Health Technician will provide direct services to residents, including assistance with personal hygiene and ADL's, as well as assistance with all tasks necessary for maintaining a therapeutic community and residence.
Conducting activities with residents, including educational, social and leisure programs. Inclusion of resident's input and suggestions in the planning process involved for all activities.
The Mental Health Technician is responsible for documentation in clinical charts and residential logs as required, including progress notes on assigned residents. Immediate reporting of all resident crisis and/or unusual incidents to Shift Supervisor.
Participation in meetings and training sessions as assigned, including but not limited to Quality Improvement Program, and multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings.
