The Analyst, Contract Marketing and Commercial Analysis extracts, analyzes, and interprets data from an array of systems to address complex business issues. The Analyst also prepares and summarizes commercial and customer analysis to identify key trends and communicates business drivers, market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and product/therapy opportunities to marketing and sales teams.
Responsibilities

Communicates findings, trend analyses and recommendations verbally and in writing to management and other stakeholders.Develops and manages reporting templates used to analyze and interpret data.Ensures data quality of all outgoing reports and analyses.Designs complex ad hoc reports to support a variety of functional areas.Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials (i.e. market competitive trends, customer specific trending).Identify process improvement opportunities and develop or enhance tools to assist in the work deliverables.Provide recommendations and review the analysis and business drivers based on cost-benefit analysis interpretation. Requirements
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.2-4 years of experience in Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Demand Planning roles with a proven analysis background. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred. Must be analytical, have excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize projects.Ability to work independently.Strong verbal and written communication skills required.Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Proficiency in Word and Outlook required and knowledge of PowerPoint, Access and Qlik experience preferred.

WEBSTER BANKING ROTATIONAL PROGRAM -- COMMERCIAL LENDING/CREDIT RISK

Program Overview

The Webster Banking Rotational Program is two-year program designed to provide participants with progressively challenging work assignments in either the Commercial Lending/Credit Risk, Finance, Community Banking, Operations, and IT areas. Program participants will acquire business unit and organizational knowledge, gain exposure to senior leadership, have access to a formal executive mentor, and accelerate their development at Webster through structured learning programs including a two-week credit risk training program.

This posting is for the COMMERCIAL LENDING/CREDIT RISK track of the Webster Banking Rotational Program which consists of rotations in the areas of Credit Risk and Commercial Banking. Assignments are likely to include work in the following areas:

* Commercial Banking Portfolio Management
* Business Banking Risk/Underwriting
* Credit Risk Review
* Commercial Restructure and Recovery

Location:

All rotational assignments will be located within Stamford, Boston, New Haven and Hartford.

Requirements:

* 1-3 years of prior professional experience or equivalent.
* Bachelor's degree preferably with a concentration in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar field.
* Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Candidates should be able to create and use PivotTables, utilize the VLOOKUP function, and create graphs and charts in Excel. Candidates should be able to utilize PowerPoint to create presentations complete with analytical charts and graphics.
* Ability to interpret balance sheets and income statements - a plus.
