Once wires are initiated the settlement coordinators are also responsible for sending out confirmations of the wires to the parties with the Fed Reference numbers for their files.
Settlement is also engaged when deposits or funds need to be sent if a deal is cancelled or a deposit needs to be sent for Post-Closing items, or if another company is funding a closing.

Job DescriptionOur client, an A+ rated insurance carrier, is seeking to add a Senior Middle Market Production Underwriter to their growing team. This individual will be responsible for marketing, underwriting, and pricing new Middle Market Commercial accounts, partnering closely with producers to drive profitable growth within an assigned territory. The role focuses on balanced underwriting, strong agency relationships, and portfolio management. This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
Market, underwrite, and price new Middle Market Commercial business in accordance with underwriting guidelines and authority.
Analyze risk exposures, coverage needs, pricing, and terms to ensure profitable underwriting decisions.
Develop, evaluate, and interpret financial, operational, and loss history information to assess account acceptability.
Work closely with producers to solicit new business, manage renewals, and strengthen agency relationships.
Conduct regular agency visits to support business development, retention, and portfolio growth.
Manage an assigned book of business while achieving production, retention, and loss ratio targets.
Monitor market conditions and competitive trends to identify new opportunities and maintain underwriting discipline.
Qualifications:
3 - 10+ years of experience underwriting Middle Market Commercial insurance.
Strong knowledge of commercial coverages, pricing, and risk evaluation.
Proven ability to manage a profitable book of business and work collaboratively with producers.
Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred.

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors.
