Responsibilities are assisting as follows:



Prepare the applications for the submission with underwriting information provided by the producer Daily ongoing relationship with Commercial Lines Manager regarding specific deadlines and ongoing projects/tasks Work with the service staff to meet timeline (deadlines) Work with assigned Account Executive on marketing procedures with discussed selected markets Follow up with Markets for quotations. Create the proposal under the direction of the Account Executive Create Proposal booklets Check for any discrepancy's b/w submission/quotation/proposal Make any proposal changes and quotations from client meeting with the producer directed by the Work with Producer to provide binders of insurance/Get client sign off Certificate issuance Check policies with Submission/quotation/proposal Invoice Check endorsements against Account Executive requests Issue auto ID Cards



Qualifications

As an Account Manager , your primary responsibility is to serve as the day-to-day expert on a Commercial Lines book of business and be the primary point of contact for clients. The Account Manager will assist in preparing and negotiating renewal documents, maintaining client databases, records management, project-specific assignments, and other responsibilities supporting the client. In this position, successful candidates need to maintain a positive attitude and provide a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing our commercial lines clients.
Responsibilities
Client Service

Handle telephone requests and correspondence in reference to assigned clients and respond within 24 hours of receipt
Prepare and process all requests for mid-term certificates of insurance, endorsements, and auto identification cards as required within 24 hours of request
Type and issue binders of insurance as required within 24 hours of request
Assist prospects/insureds until a producer is available
Prepare memo/letter of explanation of audits and/or endorsement changes
Production Support
Produce and review the monthly expiration list for assigned clients with the producer 120 days prior to expiration
Prepare applications for all assigned new and renewal business. Forward completed submission to designated carriers and/or rate the submission in our office following the company's underwriting guidelines/criteria according to established time frame
Rate and complete endorsement, cancellation, additional or return premiums as required within 72 hours of request
Assist and prepare formal proposals of insurance within time frame established with producer
Keep producers fully informed of all important activities on their accounts, including being sensitive to potential problems and informing management
Process claims in the absence of our claims department
Automation
Accurately maintain all client activity in the agency automation system
Maintain suspense items within 72 hours of diary date
Maintain accurate and update client file with proper imaged documents
Accounts Receivable
Comply with all aspects of the agency's billing, accounts receivable and collections policy
Notify producer of any unpaid audits and request appropriate actions be made according to agency collections procedure
Keep current on rates, forms and coverage changes through circulars and bulletins, trade publication and seminars and schools offered.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Critical Skills:

Ability to learn technical material related to insurance regulations, processes and related technology systems.
