Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of area sales and marketing functions. a. Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, industrial PEC reports, dodge reposts, valley construction news business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, associations and other sources. Travels to solicit new customers and make sales presentations to prospective customers. b. Prospects for new accounts and seeks opportunities to increase existing ones. Conducts regular sales calls to develop customer relationships and follow up on leads. c. Tracks sales and deals through closing and finalizes sales contracts; Meets established quotas and sales goals. d. Forecasts long range account sales, prospects, and goals, and communicates related information regularly to management. 2. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining good business relations with customer and external trade contracts. a. Ensures customers are satisfied with CSE services. b. Obtains customer feedback and continually works with management to improve services. c. Resolves customer requests, complaints, and problems. d. Promotes goodwill and conveys a positive image of CSE and its' personnel. 3. Represents CSE Inc. a. Provides excellent customer service, answers questions in a cordial and professional manner. b. Presents rental agreement to customer reviewing terms and conditions and having customer sign. c. Is responsible after job completion to report billable hours on rental equipment and securing customer signature acknowledging terms and conditions. d. Compliance & Registration • Manage emissions inspections, state inspections, registrations, and any location-specific compliance requirements. • Resolve inspection conflicts (diesel exemptions, new-purchase waivers, emissions discrepancies). • Maintain expiration logs to avoid downtime or citations. Asset Management & Lifecycle • Maintain accurate asset data in JDE, Holman Insights, and Power BI including miles, hours, condition, and utilization. • Support fixed-asset counts and cleaning up child/parent asset structure for AM Liner. • Identify equipment that should be disposed of, transferred, or reallocated based on field needs. • Assist with CAPEX planning by identifying future equipment needs and high-priority replacements. Communication & Stakeholder Support • Maintain daily communication with AM Liner superintendents, mechanics, project managers, and office staff. • Provide clear updates on equipment readiness, expected return dates, and operational impacts. • Serve as the main contact point for all equipment-related questions and escalations before they reach the Equipment Manager. • Work with vendors to resolve issues, request quotes, and manage turnaround times. Systems & Reporting • Utilize Samsara, Holman Insights, JDE, Power BI, and internal spreadsheets to manage fleet visibility. • Submit weekly equipment reports to the Equipment Manager including: - Units out of service - Units in shop - Units waiting on parts - Boilers and jetters due for inspection - Registration/emissions updates • Monitor GPS data, idle time, mileage, and location for fleet accuracy and accountability. Rate pay will be established upon successful completion of weld test Qualifications: Tank Building (Fitter/welder) experience required. Must obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program and pass background screening. Must possess or be able to pass the Basic Safety Council Class Courses Must complete the Matrix Service Basic Safety training and site-specific training. Site may require a valid TWIC card. Site may require fire retardant clothing. If required by site, you must be able to maintain clean shaven and/or free of facial hair so that a respirator/face mask can seal properly. Must be willing to travel. Must be willing to work overtime. Physical Requirements: Must be willing to work frequent overtime. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Must be able and willing to work at elevated heights from ladders, scaffolding, aerial work platforms, etc. Work may include pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools. Must be able to perform tasks in hot and cold temperatures. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Work may include frequent bending, kneeling, crouching and stooping and occasional climbing onto equipment and/or trailers.
