To offer safe custom transport to medical appointments, treatment facilities, and social outings as scheduled. Train all Sacred Heart Senior Living Community drivers in the proper use of wheelchair 'secure in place' measures and occupant restraint system Develop and manage a maintenance/inspection program for all facility vehicles. Assist the Administrator and Corporate office to ensure yearly licensing and insurance requirements for all vehicles. Transportation Coordinator must perform and excel in all job functions of the driver position. Specific Duties: Report to facility 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. Check with Nursing Supervisor for medications needed for the time while out of the facility, changes in physical condition.
