CDL Class B - Waste Collection Reports To: Operations Manager As a CDL Class B TruckDriver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Safely operate around 150 miles of home
Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures

Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
Carry out other duties as needed or instructed

Qualifications:

Congratulations, you now have your Class A License you are looking for work with no OTR experience no one will hire you? We will give you a chance. In order to qualify, you have to have graduated from at least 120 hour Academy within the last 2 years.
This is not a local position. After your 30 day training you'll come home and choose one of many open positions. Many are OTR runs. However we do offer you other positions once you get started with us.
Don't be fooled by other carriers promising big salaries only to leave you hanging. We offer excellent pay and benefits unsurpassed by many other carriers.
All of our training positions for drivers with no OTR experience, like yourself, features great pay, excellent benefits and many home time options. After training you will be expected to run OTR getting home every 10-14 days. Many openings are regional as well getting home more often.
Of late we offer several different division opportunities, such as dry van, flatbed, and reefer. If you'd like to run flatbed we offer a free 5 day training course to build your experience level. We have a CDL school tuition reimbursement for those who paid out of pocket to go to school. Up to $1,000 to help payback your tuition.
The onboarding process, and position details:
After HR receives your application, we will then reach out to you and conduct a phone interview to pre-qualify you. Once we determine that you qualify, we will then review all of the job details with you and move you forward with the application process.
During your interview we will assist you to fill out the first part of our application. Afterwards we will email you a link to complete the second part.
Once reviewed by an administrator applicant processor. We will then be contacting you regarding your approval. Look for a call from area code 479.
After you are approved moving forward, you will be scheduled for driver orientation. You will be scheduled for the closest location. We will reserve a hotel room for you. Transportation for orientation will be by bus on our dime or you can drive yourself and we will pay you for your gas. Breakfast is provided at the hotel and lunch will be taken care of by us.
After orientation, you will be hired and go out with a driver trainer for 4 weeks straight. You will be staying out the whole month, training all over the country. Our goal is to build your confidence behind the wheel and turn you into a great safe Class A Driver. Pay is just $650 a week during this time.
After completion of your OTR training, you will then meet with a terminal manager to choose a position that suits your needs. You will then become a regular driver and move into a full time position. Your pay will increase to anywhere from $1,200 - $1,400+ per week during this time(depending on the run you choose). Getting home times will vary depending on the run. (OTR or regional)
You will be eligible for our full benefit package after 30 days: Medical, vision, dental, with 401k retirement, $10k in company paid life insurance, disability insurance and paid vacation. Our trucks are newer well-maintained Freightliners (mostly autos). Another benefit, we have partnered with SNHU and are happy to offer our drivers and one of their immediate family FREE tuition for online college classes.

Our mining process typically begins with drilling and blasting the rock into smaller pieces. About the Position
CDL Drivers are responsible for transporting rock, sand, and other materials from distribution center to customer locations. Drivers are also required to perform inspections before and after a trip, and load and unload products from the trailer to customer facilities. Drivers also follow appropriate safety procedures to transport dangerous cargo and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours.

Operate and drive a truck in a safe and efficient manner adhering to the FMCSA and MSHA rules and regulations
